Maybe us low level noobs should all try a bit of a different attitude ... :P

Don't worry so much about the high levels. Consider them a colorful and interesting part of the surroundings but realize that they are mostly pretty to look at but not there to touch. High levels can make lots of fun explosions and occasionally relieve the boredom of training with their weird comments on global chats.

Works for me. :D

There's a Yamataka in Runescape...are you her? Someone stole someones name, or you both got the name from like a show or something. Heh heh. But ya that is the gist of em. Just because I'm defending these low lvls doesn't mean I act like them. I don't really talk to anyone in SRO, period lol. Just RL friends...so far anyways. And ya they are pretty to look at, almost too pretty...like the male charecters with yellow flowers around their head/shoulders and rainbow colored robes. Lol.

I rarely respond to noobs who ask for help... That's mainly because I get them while globaling about a totally different subject. :banghead:

I think it happens with any game..

All the same questions:
Can I have some gold?
Can you help me do this?

And I reply is "no sorry"

+1. and every time i global something (which is usually just humorous BS making fun of someone or something), i get 10 people PMing me for help and 10 PMing me to global things for them. i still take time to answer questionsm, but it's hard to get anything done.

O M G

I don't even want to global anymore due to stuff like that. Most of the time it's "how do you do alchemy", or "how do you talk in yellow", or just other random spam, comments about my mom, and so on.

Today though, I got a noob spamming me to res him. I was in town! He spammed me for a good 10 minutes, so I just turned off whispers.

I bet she fell off her chair when I said, "Oh yeah, you might know me better as nightbloom." LOL I love yanking her chain, she's one of those high levels everyone loves to hate.

I just noticed that I joined SRF before you did. That's freaking weird. Even Ryoko only joined 20 days before me. ROFL

Beggars get what they deserve. Ignored!

Apart from that I take the time to talk to most. And I often end up helping those that didn't necessarily ask. It can really make someones day. Running along to east ferry jangan with all the 64+ poping the 20s I randomly pick traders to help through every so often. There is rarely a better way to impress someone. Funny the high lvl popers always complain that there are no multi stars but rarely have the guts to do them themselves. Oh the irony. :D But I am not here to preach to the popers as I have done it myself. Though I refuse to do it in jangan anymore. It is rarely a challenge. And thiefing is not about the money but the fun. And for me challenge = fun.

One thing alot just starting out don't/can't take into account. Is the fact that someone might not be purposefully ignoring them. When you get up there it is not hard to get union, guild, party, whisper, and all chats going at once. A tricky proposition I assure you. adn doing all that while navigating can be even more difficult. So your intermittant messages might get scrolled off the screen before they ever have time to see them.

I love do bad things, when i grind my chat windows is closed so i mostly dont see notin, but when i have time ahhhhhhh.

Thiefing - risky but fun, still not lvl 70 so i hate be killed by higher lvl but ..... it its fun :D

but but but, theres way more fun then that - "Hey can you lvl me up ? " OMG sure i can !

Then I take noob, depends on his lvl, to agresive mobs and let them kill him, sometimes i get their item too, thats way more funny then doing pvp and wast pots :D

Or i finde couple noobs in Jang and tell them to go look for nice stuff that im goin to buy for them, when they finde what they want (like 70% of them want wolf) i just turn my wisper off and leave,or again ill lead them to high lvl monsters and let them die :D.

Also its so funny when u say lvl 50-55 guy that u gona show them caves - then he die - soooo funny!

PS. I just remember what else i love to do.

Spawn protector :D (that red flying stuff) and tell noob if u atk that he will drop u 100k gold and nice items. funny :D::D

or lvl 20+ can you please hold ALT+Click on me to help me gain more exp,or heal me,or that is nice hack when u do it u take 1 mil gold from me, they go purple i kill them then they beg Resssssssss and i laugh again :D

Just few cents of me:

1. n00b > Beginner
2. High Lvl Players = Bigger n00bs ( :P )

For Info:
Its not only in this game.. its in every other online RPGs. Its not a big deal but its a pain in the arse when some real noob (like me) wants to know abt Alchemy and abt skills and stats to know which is the best one.

But "stfu noob" <--- is kinda ignorant response. I am sure most of you have went through all of this when you were very low lvls. So what i want to say is that: "What Goes Around Comes Around"!!

That brings up a question I've been wondering: In Runescape, online BF's and GF's and marriages were hugely popular. Is it the same in SRO? Seriously, people were getting married hella often. I attended like 4 diff friends RS marriages hahaha. :D :D

I have two feelings regarding 1* popping

one
I hate thieves, more the lvl 70 thieves that do it than the ones that have almost the same level as the trader at least then they could call upon friends and try to beat him.

the other feeling is: what if Joymax would prevent this? then suddenly trading would become boring, I noticed that the only exitement comes from the fear of being popped and arrive in one piece gives an extra good feeling

O yeah and I have done 5* trades as well tracing one player together with a 1* so he is taking the hits and making selection for attack difficult

But with each time 5 thieves popping you can not hide the fact you have a 5*
The most dearing attempt we did was real noobisch 4 5* trades max level 40 and highest level hunter lvl 52
That's 20 thieves popping every time and getting all the attention of the lvlv 70 thieves, it shows thieves are cowards as no lvl 50 or 60 did an attempt to attack

But its fun, so I hope that the real high levelers focus on attacking the multiple star fire oxes, there are plenty of them on our server and the thieves of lvl 30 to 40 can do 1* popping of the levl 20 -40 trades

That would be honorfull even for a thieve

you hate poppers huh? hehe well so do I which is exactly why i swore revenge and by the time i became lvl40 became a hunter :P i killed like 5 thiefs a day ^_^(but that was on my old character plus she was pure str and this time when i reach lvl40 i will nuke em )

I decided to be an ass to the beggars and kill them with my npc thieves the other day just before inspection. I had a good time.

beggar: 10K please
Me: go outside west gate and I'll give it to you
beggar: there is a thief there he will attack me
ME: nah he's attacking me
beggar: reeeesssssssssssssssss
Me: 10k please

One of them whispered me that he would be back with his high level (64+). I know the guy. How sad is it that a high level character spends time in Jangan on a level 1 char begging.
