id wear it too if my char was different, but in that pic, the monkey looks like such a flamer >.< Looks like wings are gona cost me 80 more silk then most other people

You can add them up to 4 blue options (at blacksmith) which are :
+1 STR
+1 INT
+5% parry
+5% ar
+150 HP
something with faster hp regen or sth
and few more, but i dont know their effect... yet

130 silk for them is more than enough, upgrading is free (at least in ksro)

2. do the stats improve over time/level? str1 sounds a bit cheap!
