Hi all, id like to know the balance between thiefs and traders in your servers couse it can make difference in your gameplay , for example in Aege there are few active thiefs ( i mean going out to search trades) but powerfull and traders are scared. You can see the weekly donation of traders and thiefs of Aege to understand what im telling you.

What about other servers? i have seen donations of Xian and Greece and seems there Traders and Hunters can easily finish trades or are more powerfull ?

in my server Troy. theirs hardly any hunter... theirs alot of theif and trader.. and so boring no one even jobbing

there is barely enough traders on oasis to get lvl 2 thief and anything higher takes months

uhm its perty much a bunch of ranged level traders doing 1 stars( i mean level 50's n 60's) then a bunch of 80-90 hunters that kill lvl 20 theifs all day...

then theres a few low lvl theifs and like 5 80-90 which rule...

Sparta there are more hunters than thiefs yet all the huge trade parties bring 1 or 2 outside rezzers because the theifs that are on that server are bad azz

traders are top then hunters. but when the thiefs thief it's not in my time zone so i can't :(

Venice is dead...I left for Xian cuz thief ratio on Venice is like 10-1 and the theifs still use unsuits for jw and jobbing

took me 1week of JOB ONLY to get lv3 of thief on my lv 68 4gappin blader:) so i can say hera have a nice balance between thief and trader/hunter

We got lots of theives, just not at the time we trade.
USA east time theives are on from like 7am to 4pm and trade runs with corrupt, nb, fly and khaara are always at like 9-10pm thats why we dont get theif attention :)

OT: my union = hunter/trader, some others are thiefs.. but cant really tell hows its balanced coz there are so little.

It doesn't really matter how many there are in general. Since the update to the triangular conflict, jobbing has became a joke. People create level 30 accounts to do trades and not be harmed. Until there's a high star trade going, it has more hunters than mobs that uniques spawn.

You forgot to mention the classic 1~3 out side ressers usually present for the traders. Once that happens the thief side go grabs one and its a non stop reverse fight of boringness. Which is probably why no one wants to go jobbing.

1)Traders are such pansys
2)Thief loses intrest after some time.(I know I do after its 10minute reverse fight)
3)Takes over an hour usually to rob 1mil worth of goods thanks to the outside ressing.

yeah, 60% trader, 35% hunter, and 5% thief. we have hunters and traders almost level 7, but the highest level thief is 4 and his percent is so low you can get that in about a day of lucky thieving.

I was replying to the two ppl that posted that we're pansys and wont do trades unless we have many hunters, regarless of the theif activity.
Oh and im pretty sure that if you were my hunter for a 5*, yes i'd need more then one hunter.

dont trade with 5 wizzard hunters either, if a thief party comes even a som+7 staff wont save you before your dead xD

Yeah also trading with 2 or more clerics in the party = win. Why? Even if one of them dies you instantly res the other and its a res party. I don't mind this, because they're in suit. When they're out suit that's when its just plain faggotry. Same with thief side. Just waiting for Joymax to make some sort of patch where you can interfere with the jobbing.

i think recently our fortress guild/union switched from thieves to traders/hunters so there's barely any thieves on now.

there are loads of guilds that are ONLY traders/hunters, but none the i know that are only thieves.
i used to be a thief, but had to switch to trader so i could grind on those lvl 90 thiefs for 89-90 gear pieces :(

Zeus is really thief heavy, jobbing isnt to bad I guess, it has its highs and lows, some weeks its possible to bag as much as 20*'s and other weeks your lucky if you even see another person jobbing.

About thieves, I dont know, they come from time to time.
