Is it possible to change the color of the private chat to lime green? If so, can someone take a fresh PK2 file and do it for me? :S I have no idea how to do any of that stuff.

Plz and ty.

Party chat and Private chat is a bit confusing sometimes.

I think Drew_Benton made a program a year ago or so where you could change the color's of chat types. It might still be in the archives not sure.

on some screens it may be hard to see much of a difference in party and pm chat color.
on my 22" lcd i can see it fine but on the old 19" crt screen on the other computer i cant tell unless i take a good look..

it is dude to fading of the colors and brightness.. so no he/she may not be color blind but may not have a bright screen with bright colors..

iv found it depends alot what resolution your running. when i run 1024x786 on my desktop there's a distinct difference but on my laptop with 1440x900 you can barely tell.

this has nothing to do with the fact that the screens will be different etc because i tried altering the resolution to see what happens and it still happens :P

very interesting on my old CRT monitor at 1280x1024 it was very easy to tell them apart but on my LCD at 1440x900 they look almost exactly the same

might be something to do with 1440x900 then? i didn't try any other resolutions.

1280x1024 is standard right? by standard i mean the aspect ratio: not widescreen.

if so it could even be something to do with widescreen resolutions

1440x900 is not 4:3 or even 16:9 its 16:10 an unusual shape

my laptop 1680X1050 and that's fine too.
the crt is 1024X768 and darker and it is hard to see.

I don't know, seems awful "bot-like".

(You'd have to mod the client or make a loader BTW.)
