Why's that? Because people aren't happy at buying it every month? (Like they do, grabpet, premium all other things that work well in the game).

HELLO THIS IS GM TARKY.
Thank you for supporting Joymax by purchasing our new Devil Spirit Dress. Because of this support, we will introduce you with our latest creation, the Mechanical Chrome Liquid Spirit. You will enjoy how your character's appearance will drastically change. With the help of all other silk users, we have decided to make sure the dresses in the future will also only last for 28 days, then you would have to pay again to use the dress, we only are doing this because we know that you will all support us by buying more silk.

You don't have to buy the devil spirit
You don't have to buy premium
in fact you don't have to buy any silk at all to have fun in the game .
you still can pvp other players that don't buy that shiz too .

paying silks for extra buffs is for hardcore players who are welling to spend their last cent to win the next pvp (good luck in their life ).

you don't have to be FF level 90 to have fun in the game . cuz as i recall most of us had more fun in the start of their silkroad than at level cap .

for demonangel,

Are you sure it's gonna be permanent? hmmm.... coz I get the feeling that this is to test out another income source idea...

If it works, if people will start to buy extensions.... well, would there be an Angel's Spirit S next?

Then a Clown's Spirit after?

why not just sell a bazooka for 1000 silk, and introduce a tank in the game... for 2000 silk per day. (just letting my thoughts run wild)

semi-seriously.... If SRO is gonna introduce a Devil's Spirit Thingy... They gotta balance it... and I'm gonna wait for the Angel's Spirit...

@swordclown: no offense but for god sake don't compare WOW to any game, WOW is history, old, even their graphic can't even compare to most of the good mmorpg. if you wanna compare then compare Aion it is also P2P (i don't know but i never like WOW when i first look at it graphic :banghead: )

well, devil spirit would be permanent if only few people buy it, because they not gonna make any profit if only a handful of players use it. I just don't have money to waste like those, if some of the sro gamers are working and spend their check on sro (i suggest you to go kill your self :D). I'm feeling like people getting dumber everyday lol

Third:I will not be free of time, look at ksro they got same, and as well joymax don't want to lose his money right?

Ok its Joymax they ban gold bots only, and make money from the silk buying bots and dont ban them.... if you dont think this wouldnt be sold for awhile, but again they may or may not have the angel outfit so i dont know.

OMFG why are you people bitching about having to repurchase this dress every month? have any of you EVER played any other F2P games? you repay for suits in several others. on top of that, there are people who buy every single avatar suit out there. so how is this any different?

hmm, because people like you: don't know how to bargain, don't know what is worth it or not, don't know the worth of money these 3 reasons is enough to make you feel stupid or nicely say you got rip off(have some common sense please).
Unless you one of those rich kids don't have to do anything just wake up in the morning sit on your computer, eating snacks, play video games, and ask your parents for their cc to purchase some virtual items which will not get you anywhere except in game. If you are fine with it then keep it up, it's none of my business anyway.

Frankly, people seem to be forgetting that the avatars, devil spirit, ability pet or whatever that you can purchase in the Item Mall are ALL OPTIONAL!! Joymax is not holding a gun to your head so you can buy it. It's totally up to you to buy it. Any businesses are like that, not just MMORPG games. They make additional unnecessary items in order to make money. And why do they need to make money? To maintain the business. Honestly, name one MMORPG game that doesn't have any items purchasable on it. Absolutely FREE.

It's not about making a bargain. I think it's you who don't understand. It's up to you whether you want to purchase it or not. Before purchasing it, why not ask someone else first whether it's worth buying. Observe the people around you. Are they satisfied with the purchase? Do you think you'll be satisfied? Go to forums. Check what people are saying about the items. Ask your guild. There are plenty of things you can do to find out whether the item is okay and WORTH it for you to buy. Then after that, make judgment. Weigh the pros and cons. Obviously, if you're so worried about spending money, then the above things I mentioned is worth looking into.

What the fuck are you doing here if you don't like the game. You do realize it's a SRO forum right? I got almost every suit too and I know the value of money and how to bargain and what not. I just like to spend my money on these things, because it's MY money, you get to choose over YOUR money.

So really, just GTFO if you can't stfu about it.

Lane if you think a virtual avatar is worth to pay 15 usd (btw i don't mind if it just 15usd) and $5 additional fee every month, then i got nothing to say. And i know it's not worth it, plus all my posts is just my opinions don't take it as an actual fact.
However it's seem that people don't understand a thing about "supply and demmand".
@XMoshe: boo my opinion, btw i never say i don't like the game lol, seriously people have self-esteem is just too low. The truth always hurt :P
oh well, stupid people will feed me their money after i get my degree, yay for the smart people 8)

Your kind doesn't last long around here.

You obviously don't agree with peopel spending money to pay for their hobby's right ? So why don't you go to your local sports club and laugh at all the people there for paying a membership because they pay for a hobby. Oh and you might aswell laugh at people who buy video games too.

You reasoning makes no sense. So much for you being 'smart'.

'We' are able to spend money on this game as most of 'us' have jobs and are able to put 100$ a side every month for our hobby's. If you got a problem with that, then this game + forum is not for you.

well, if you guys still don't get that making sro as your hobby is a rip off then just ignore my posts. I'm just looking at it as a business stand point, you may or may not agree. Maybe you haven't fully understand my posts from above, i never disagree on people spend their money on their hobby anyway. My reasons are all make sense but whatever flow your boat.

It's the same thing as buying with any PS2/PS3 games. Are they really worth that much when you can only play them once then set aside it again and never touch it for how many days? Or how about spending it on alcohol? Boy they are expensive but you get to only consume it once and what do you get? a hangover in the morning(I don't drink but I'm just using this as an analogy). In the end, you'll ask? Is it worth it? For people it is (which I don't get but hey at least I don't judge them). It's the same way for virtual items. You only get to use it on virtual world but for them, is it worth it? People will say yes, people will say no. Go to a different game. You'll see the prices are pretty much exactly the same.

not to sound like an ass, but, read my posts above "whatever flow your boat" <-- an old saying that everybody should keep in mind. And about PS2/PS3 games i never spend a dime on their games, it is all on the internet, all you need is to download it and burn it out(also make sure you have a modchip in your system). Drinks are expensive and i pay for it even though i know its not worth it, but, in a party i have to pay for it once in a while, i can't just let my friends pay for it all the time (let me keep my personal life out of this :) )
P.S. don't flame me on the PS2/PS3 :D, i take any free lunch i get, since there is no such thing as free lunch  .

Well, also NOT to sound an ass, but saying "whatever FLOATS your boat" and then calling people stupid pretty much negates your comment. Also it spells demand not demmand :) . Just because people like to spend money on a game doesn't mean they are stupid. It just means they're having fun. I didn't want to call you on that in the first place but I couldn't resist lol.

hmm, because people like you: <--- first of all muthafucker, you don’t know me, and don’t call me out like you do.

don't know how to bargain, <---second of all, this isnt some bazaar where I can haggle for an ability pet with a dead chicken and some herbs.

don't know what is worth it or not, <--- third, only I can decide what value something holds to me, its none of your poor english speaking business

don't know the worth of money <---bitch, I earn my money, I support a wife, a kid, and cats. Again, don’t call me out like you know me.

these 3 reasons is enough to make you feel stupid or nicely say you got rip off(have some common sense please).
