Yeah, this is why it's getting hard to level up with a Euro, stuck at 89 for a few months. People won't listen to reason or try anything new. The party was 6/8 Euro party at the Chasers so there was plenty of room to join. Depressing :( Just because the word "warlock" is spelled differently from the word "wizard" but both are equal in parties. Give it a chance!

Image

Luckily I know the actual person who plays on that account, and that wasn't him. I pvp him a lot and he definitely knows me well enough to tell my class. It's just too bad :( I feel sorry for others who can't join parties because the party leader is dead set on only getting a certain class and won't let you join even if they have nothing to lose.

Ironically, he's a rogue.

EDIT: It was his brother playing. He's probably in for an ass-kicking, so it's all ended well (but not for the brother >_<)

That pt leader is a fool if there was room and he didn't let you in. I'll let any euro build in if the pt's 6/8. I'd rather have 3 tanks then nothing at all.

Yeah, that's exactly how I felt about it. It's not cool to exclude people when you need all the help that you can get. It's not like adding an extra person will kill the whole party or drop the EXP flow.

this pt leader is a fool cuz he has no idea what a warlock can do . but tbh i'm a pt discriminator myself . i don't accept bladers & glaviers in my party . & sometimes when there is 6+ euros in my pt i don't accept any chinese build at all .

Chinese people almost always slow it down...almost any euro build would speed it up.

6/8 even a rogue that sucks at luring can just throw on CE and be a wizard.

Plus, Warlocks supposedly get zerk a lot.

They do. And not just for themselves but for the entire party as well.

That pt leader is an idiot. Did you at least get a party in the end?

Resist it some more :O Party grinding is fun, and the game is about the journey, not the destination. :P

Thanks for replying peeps. It's not just about how one class is excluded, but that it happens a lot with Rogues, Bards, and Chinese builds too. Usually it isn't like this. The party leaders often understand and will give you a "test run," after which they let you stay.

I asked a party leader who luckily said yes! But then someone joined right before me and filled it up 8/8. I'll train next week x_x

Ouch o_o

The person playing at the time turned out to be his little brother. Who is probably getting his ass kicked right now. :P It all ends well.

Why not anyone over 85? Chasers and attackers are great for leveling.

I don't discriminate. I don't care what build someone is, if they are willing to fight and want to help, then they are more than welcome to join (as long as they are within the level)

1 warlock good for party, more then one its better to have a wiz but a good party definatlly wants one, they just don't understand how fast they'll beserk or much faster they'll kill.

wha? not letting a warlock in is utterly ridiculous. As a wiz, I'd rather have a lock in the party cause of their debuffs and zerk rate increase rather than have another wizard. imho...

the pt leader surely doesn't know how a euro party functions. >.<

This happened to me literally 2 days ago @ pegs.
I tried to join & they said they didn't need a warlock.
I asked if they already had one, they said no but they didn't need one.

+1 they are good at luring but need decent support to live. In the end, they have the hardest time of any build getting in to parties due to their lack of good party skills. You would think that a rogue would understand other peoples' situations.

I haven't partied in a long time because of school work, but I presume that three wizards is a decent number for a party, right? I remember being in parties with 4 and 5, and there wasn't nearly enough buffs for everyone. (A few kept dying because there were only 2 warriors max, and others needed warrior buffs too.)

If any of you have been in similar situations, feel free to share them. It's not all about me

You know what I hate? When people dont accept lower levels in party ...
I mean, im 80, and I always am accepted as Cleric in wing parties (85 & 87)
but they always fill party with lv.90's and the exp sucks sooo bad.

Ignorant fools, never heared about avearge party level ... they only care about hitting sky-high.

We were gaining (atleast me) 287 sp per pt mob (yeah thats right).
And I invited a lv.3 nub, that picks up items at rocMt. ...

We killed pt mob and I gained 782 sp...
But noooo, the retards keep telling "ban low lvl" ...
