Theres a difference between player bots and gold bots. Gold bots clog up the servers with hundreds of level 1's standing idle at DW NPC's. At least player bots are doing something constructive

I wouldn't call it constructive.

Gold bots are run by player bots. Player bot is his masters

The majority of gold bots are run by gold selling companies.

And do you know how many botters who multi-run 40 gold bots and called themself "companies"?

My question is, are we lucky or unlucky in terms of botting compared to other games?
More than unlucky.
I dont know any game, which is that full of bots like SRO. Sure there are bots for almost every single online game, ofc there are botters in every game, BUT botting is not that "popular" in other games either because the community is not that farked up like SRO ones is, or they get banned there.

Not nearly as many as you think. It's the goldbot companies that run dedicated servers on multiple IPs running hundreds of goldbots (If not thousands) that ruin iSRO. Sure there's a few people who run their 15 sbot's, or 30 isrobot clientless.. but you have no idea how time consuming it is for one person to do. If they have a job or school it's nearly impossible. People who work for gold companies do it for their job, so it's not as hard for them.
oh yeah, ontopic.. uhh, they have it a lot better than us. Report, they get a week ban.. 7 days later report them again? If there's enough players it shouldn't be difficult at all.

I don't know too... But only in this forum, there're already more than 5 ppl that run 40+ clientless (who are in exposed botter section atm). This conclude that gold bots not only belong to a gold company, but player bots too, lots of them.

I just got back from a long break of not playing SRO (Because of the logging in issues as well as getting real bored of SRO's problems)....I just tried to log on a few minutes ago..and cant...I think that answers your question. We are unlucky and gaymax is the worst.
This forum provides more entertainment than the game itself...and thats sad..

I know that player bots run gold bots, but to say that player run gold bots take up more server space than gold selling company gold bots is just wrong.
Most player bots only run ~10 gold bots at most. Enough to keep them moderately comfortable when it comes to gold.

Actually, there're not much gold companies in the game. The main job of these companies is being a middle man, selling gold. The gold the got are from player bots who run gold bots. When player bots have exceed gold, they sell it to the gold companies. So the majority of ppl who bought gold thought that the source of the gold are from the gold companies, but actually it's from player bots. You got to know that the total gold a company gain a day from thier bots is not enough to provide to many clients in a day.

You're wrong NS. If it were the players they'd simply sell the gold themselves, if you've ever looked at selling to a goldcompany the prices are ridiculous. Noone would be that dumb. Also the people who run goldbots usually keep them in their own guild, like vortex for example, and keep the gold for themselves. The random goldbots with names like dxfdhfg are goldcompany bots. Which are definitely the majority.

Selling gold is not as simple as sell a sandwich in real life. First you need to know how to create a website, design a website and a bit sql programming skills to record transaction and demands from the clients. Not all of the player bots know this, so the best way, they sell their gold to the gold companies with a lower price. I think you heard a lot about "buy cheap, sell high"

That's kinda a ridiculous prejudice, no one stop a player bot to name his goldbot "afganjg". Ur just trying to avoid the fact that the player bots are responsible for the "goldbot army"

Nuclear, no. It's funny watching you post. When you get an idea in your head that you think is right, you stick to it and try to justify it no matter how incorrect you are. Then you spout the same lines over and over like it's going to make what you say a fact or something. Like in this case.

It's common sense, kid. Most botters don't have the hardware to run 40+ clients like gold companies do. Aside from that, there are very very few clientless bots out there these days. Gold selling companies have their own clientless bot they use.
