Are Bards good traders or hunters?
And please explain why , and give tips

They are good in parties, because they are a party based class. I wouldn't say they are nesasarily bad or good in trading or hunting, but they are always better in parties because of their support based skills.
I would probably not trade/hunt alone especially because of their low health and because of how many theifs can spawn from just trading, but personally I think you should try going alone first to decide whether or not they are 'good' or not to you.

I think they'd be good as traders because they can buff their group of hunters then sit on their camel without worrying about normal mobs attacking them.

They would also be good as hunters since they can attack so fast, but I'd say they would operate best with a group of hunters that can take hits for the bard while it dishes out damage. However, your skills make you stand out like a sore thumb so you will likely be the first one the thieves go for.

yea, they can be both good and bad for many reasons, they are good in groups, but being alone. you could be in some trouble..

My bard works fine as a hunter, as long as I'm not hunter for a 5* trader who's the same level as me. Then it's a struggle to kill off even the NPC thieves, much less a player thief the same level.

Bards do work fine in a party, and as long as you live, the tambours and speed are useful. You just need to get a bless up and not die in one shot.

Bard with Cleric sub is good stuff. fast nukes, + good def. pretty much good for anything.

Bard would be better for trading due to speed + noise + tambour. Trading party is centered around the trader so it's perfect for speed and tambour, noise prevents mobs attacking.

It makes a decent hunter due to area nukes. Weird + booming.

You make it sound like it's the best build ever; don't forget that the nukes are weak and you can't kill anything without a decent party; plus you don't have debuffs except bind.

Traders 100%.. switch on noise so mobs dont attack your transport and switch on tambour to buff your hunters.

As a hunter, NPC thieves own you.. OR player thief ambushes and 1-shot you easily.

they would struggle against 1 hitters, but they're pretty good.

Plus low level bards don't get that AOE "nuke" until later.

I do struggle with 1-hitters, but if I see them coming, it's bless->healing cycle->shield up->phys/mag buffs on myself, then tank for 45 seconds while the other hunters take care of the player thieves. I suppose it's about a 50% chance to survive wiz, 40% chance to survive a bower/glaive and a bit more for a blader. I don't know for sure, as I've only had two encounters with player thieves.

They suck in 1v1, they won't win vs ANY Warrior/Chinese/Warlock.

I think he meant bard cleric. Clerics are not THAT easy to kill, are they?

It depends, because clerics with buffs on can be pretty hard to bring down.
Their low health does come to a disadvantage, but with buffs on they are a force to bring down

Bards would make good hunters.. fast casting spells can cast guard or mana tambour keep mana of the party up etc.. !

they cant kill either if they are clericing... so theif would just keep hitting it and wait till npc to spawn and let them do the work. assuming no one is backing up the bard

but their nukes are almost as good as Chinese? or at least the lvls iv been in (up to 40) maybe it changes later idk.

Too bad i never record our trades when we were trading before. If only u guys know how good it was.

I guess bard would be great for killing NPC thieves, but as soon as a same level+ player thief comes its farked (unless its a bard/cleric and gets lucky with offering or some shit)

we didn't say bard wasnt good in a group lol... but it cant trade solo well...

bard nukes "might" be as strong as a chinese nuke... but that's the problem... a chinese nuke cant 1 hit someone of same level lol. So bard nukes, opponent heals and hits back (if chinese, they spam pots, if euro, well any euro can basically 1 hit bard: wiz, 2h, xbow, warlock stuns/kills)

Seriously, bard is a party based char. Stop comparing bards on 1 vs 1.
