Joymax removed prefered server access from the expert premium pack , now the only way to get it is by buying a premium plus 290 silk , 29 dollars .

why not just return the old premium tickets with the same prices , Most of those that were buying silver tickets didn't buy premium plus anyway .

It is good that you don't need a prefered access to enter servers now because of bots not allowed to enter anymore but they may return in the future .

But none of the servers is more than 2500/3500 and that is good .

If you can pay for Premium plus, you have no excuse for playing this game.

Buy a Wow, Aion or Rift subscription instead. Jesus, it isn't that hard.

I'm glad I don't play this anymore, the game started a mild gambling problem for me with regards to magic POP, i spent so much money of that idontthinkso.

Seriously, if you want a game worth playing that will keep you busy, never over-charge you and is pretty much endless with constant updates. Buy a WOW account.

I think my problem is I cannot escape the fact that both Silkroad and World of Warcraft were such amazing games the way they were at initial release. I want to make myself believe they're still just as good, but in reality, they aren't.
Joymax has turned Silkroad into a bot-ridden cash cow for people who are actually too addicted to the game to stop playing.
Blizzard on the other hand have updated WOW so much to accomodate for the lesser-skilled players that there is actually no challenge in it anymore. Stuff isn't hard, just time-consuming, I mean my gran could probably play if she wante to without any problem.

I'm just waiting for a fresh MMORPG that has as much potential as these games USED to have.

Don't tell me what game I should be playing. GTFO.

FFS, I'm not even going to go into the reasons I play SRO. Just don't tell people what to do.

So I'm assuming you've got Sinestra on farm? No?

Just because your shitty casual guild can go 2/13 Heroic doesn't mean the content is too easy. In fact, this current tier has some of the most amazing fight mechanics to date. Ignorant statement was ignorant.

comparing WOW and SRO, that was a huge different. I prefer to play with more human-like char with real look of civilization world compared to obesity ugly midget troll in greenish world with ugly polygon in WOW.

WoW's graphics really aren't that bad. I don't get why you people have such a problem with them.

The irony of mentioning human-like characters in a game that is infested with botters made me chuckle.

I mean...I guess going for looks over quality makes sense....right?

Edit:

Also, ignorantly lumping all races together like that is ignorant. This thread has been filled with a lot of ignorance actually.

Not really fair to pigeonhole the entire point I was making with regard to PvE. I was pretty much summing the whole game up. I.e. levelling (especially), PvP (unbalanced and regrettably not fun anymore) and general stuff relating to the latter.

I'd ask you not to jump to conclusions, i'm not in a casual guild, infact, I don't even have anctive subscription to the game. I played the game from the near--beginning of vanilla beta all the way to the release of cataclysm. If there's one thing I've noticed, it's what I stated.

Shit in that game (as an overall) just ain't enough of a challenge anymore. I can't complain though, I had my good times in it, christ 4 years is enough for me man. I'm just sad I can't go back and re-live it again in beta.

True, man I wish they would just implement servers which ran different expansions of the game, like vanilla on some and TBC on others etc etc.

So true. When servers will be full again, paying 30$ to login seems way too much for the game.

And saying you have RL friends there so you can't leave is not great reason :P Just get them to switch as well, unless you are botters and enjoying the clean up of storages.

First bot Accusation is forbidden unless you have a proff (i guess you didn't intend to say i am a botter but was pointing it out) .
Second i never said i can't leave , i sometimes have 5 different games opened at the same time (about 3 of them are browser games though) , my point is i can play different games but i like to have someone i can talk to before i start making mates .

Actually arenas are the most balanced they've been in a long time. Pretty much every spec is viable in a comp. Leveling is always boring, that's why they made it easier. Few people actually want the majority of their game time spent leveling. WoW is an end-game content game.

Do you realize the resources that would take on their part? The staffing alone would cost them a fortune.

Nostalgiafags man. The game is better than it's been in a long time.

Comparing SRO with WoW just shows how cheap the players are here, keep playing this bot riddled game for 30$ a month, buy yourself some tuxedos, and globals of course, you will have spent in 1-2 months what I spent in WoW in the 5 years I played it. Of course I have to pay for the game too, its just that the game is near bug free, at least 2 weeks after patch-expansion.
Left SRO @ cap 70, game back then was not too bad,now it depends on how good can you bot, how many bot friends you have(to plvl your chars), and how much gold-silk are you willing to pay to play decently.
I mean, 1 month prem const the same as 2 month subscrpition to ANY real MMORPG...

Sry about the offtopic...
Never got the grasp of retardmax to give preferred acces to some (paying) player on a "free" game...

You say that you left the game at 70 cap but you were the first one that said that auto login is disabled last week o_O .

Been back for like a month, noticed the auto login kicked every time I tried to login, guess due to the queues. Has my comeback after 5 years something to do with me noticing that something is not working? Dont really see your point here, but hey, try attacking me with something else...

you're trying to Farking battle everyone that says the game isn't amazingly awesome at the moment. I'm not arguing that I know more about the game than you do but don't think that just because someone else thinks differently to you, that you get the right to call them a 'nostalgiafag' and whatever else you have up that troll childlike sleeve.

**** my life everyone's so easger to bash everyone on this forum.

It is not my way to attack people , anyway it was down due to some errors joymax did at the last inspection , But it was working before that .

What you said at first seemed contrasting , that was my point .
