TL;DR version in video form: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVVZaZ8yO6o#t=1m26s Note: Portal 2 Spoilers

TL;DR version: I'm quitting SRO and will probably not come back given the state of the game's awful in-game community and going back to what I was doing before revisiting SRO.

I've had my fair share of good and bad experience with the last few months on SRO, most of them being bad. Despite the in-game community being non-legit for the most part, I still tried to have fun in the game and actually did have fun at first. I even bought ~$175 worth of Silk items in my re-attempt to get back into the game to speed up the process. I got a Rogue and a Warrior to the 4Xs and messed around with two Chinese builds and although I do desire to reach the level cap and have super awesome epic gear and stats, I realized it would drain me of a tremendous amount of my time (and therefore money) to do so. I have always been legit from the start and stayed legit to the end and I put up with so much trash from the in-game community that I decided to play SRO less and other games to reduce the stress I got from playing SRO. As one former member of Avalon told me (not the exact quote but similar): "SRO should be fun not stressful". For me, SRO has reached the point where playing it induces stress within me. I despise having to put up with spambots constantly remaking accounts, goldbots taking all the server space and ruining the economy, playerbots and powerlevelers taking all the good spots, the majority of the in-game community not knowing how to play properly in parties, the lag in the servers, the scammers attempting to scam me, the lack of low level parties, the general acceptance or apathy for the non-legit of the in-game community, [insert more stuff that I hate and probably forgot to mention], and most of all: the greed, incompetence, and lack of caring JOYMAX has shown in their development of the game. This was my first MMORPG when I first played it (around 1-2 months after Europeans were introduced) and looking back now I do not understand why I allowed myself to still get absorbed in a game that went so far downhill from what it originally was. I will not put up with it anymore and officially announce my resignation from the game and the community. Goodbye, SRO. For those that have always been legit in the game from the start, I hope they accomplish their goals they set for themselves in SRO.

Now, back to procrastinating from my studies by playing Minecraft, browsing Reddit, and playing other games casually. :D

Should have joined the legit union on Azteca. Ninjitsu started having quite a few low-level parties. <shrug>

for me, SRO is only fun when your high lvl.

I understand that you quit, cuz you never got higher than level 49. Low lvl was always boring for me.

dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with being low lvl, but once you reach the level range that most people actualy are, and you find a nice guild where you can play with, SRO is so much more fun (fortress war, jobbing, pvping, arena runs, fw runs) and YES, that does still excist.. well atleast on my server.

Dude .. What's wrong with you ?
Maybe he is "new" to srf but what difference this should make to you , if you don't care about him then simply don't , who cares if you don't !

what difference should it make that he just joined the forums and hes making a farewell speech like he owns the forums?

should i answer you or let you think about the stupidity of that statement.. u choose.

the worst part of it all is that we see these types of topics all the time, why can't people just leave without saying a word. why must they feel obligated to make a farewell speech like we care? look at the comments above, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON CARED.

edit: even him the person that wrote this thread.. HE DOESNT CARE. hes just being an attention grabber and its annoying, cut that ish out please. and hop of his junk stop defending him

oh i didnt quote u gladiator but i completely agree. and thats 1 of the sad things about sro is that there is no mid tier, its either low or high, and the low tier is basically non existent also, no real players have low lvl chars anymore.. when i was lvls 30-80 there was like 0 people to pvp, the people that were my lvls were like gold bots, and its sad.

Not really, I remember grinding at bandit den, ongs (when i could find a spot), partying at pegs and sungs, were hell lot of fun (all with a good party/guild chat ofc), as you get higher its just the same shit over. Same for pvp, ofc FW etc are pretty much only for high lvls (and even thats not true), pvp is the same at 7x as in 110 except some new looking skills that do the same shit.

He'll probably be back. A lot of what he hates about SRO can be found it tons of other MMOs out there. SRO is fun but only when you have people around your lvl to play with on a daily basis. I know this is hard to find but there are quite a few legit guilds out there full of people around your lvl.

that and its one of the few games that get the gfx and stuff just right. I mean after trying a lot of the games u either find that gfx are cartoonish or gameplay is so boring or slow that i cant stay in it too long.

Hope vindictus goes to EU soon, reviews r gr8 for that game.

We have your name but don't know who you are. See how that works. Anonymity, bro.
