First trade system where thieves were popping 1* trades and anyone can switch to another job anywhere 43%  43%  [ 15 ]
Second Trade system when hunters/thieves/traders weren't able to switch to other jobs instantly, but the trading was still possible 49%  49%  [ 17 ]
I like the trade system as it is now. 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I don't care about trade system at all 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I want a new, completely different trade system, and I'll explain more in my post. 9%  9%  [ 3 ]

It was really one of the best parts of the game that distinguished it from other mmorpgs, now it got changed in other words ruined as we all know.
for some people it was dead since the first update, but it's so obvious that it's more dead now, as there's no more gold is gained from trading.
Guess that Joymax will realize soon that they need to update the trade system again, how would you want it to be?

Keep dreaming about them realizing something and changing it for the better. They will most likely fck it up more if that's even possible.

First trade system.
I play it at ZSZC at the moment, and it give the most possibility. If you see that your enemies are in thief suit, you go put on your hunter suit with your guild and you kill em. Its more fun.

Second trade system was also good. Nothing wrong with it. You coudnt switch like real fast and help someone first and then backstab him.

The new system: epic failure.

TBH.... Joymax should just open 60 or 70 cap servers. Retro SRO was fun.... screw this new stuff

Basically i would choose "Second Trade system when hunters/thieves/traders weren't able to switch to other jobs instantly, but the trading was still possible" .

But they could keep the job reinforcements/equips (to still gain money and we can have some fun/gold from the trade system)

I liked the original system best. No protection from thieves made trading exciting and difficult (although often it would not be profitable). My fondest memories of this game are definitely evading considerably higher level thieves as a trader and getting back to Jangan/Donwhang with my trade goods intact, not that you really used to earn that much gold out of it anyway. I also miss putting on a thief suit and ganking the occasional lowbie trader, but I always felt mean as I knew what it was like being in that position. Great fun. I miss those days. The implementation of 1* protection until level 40 was still fun too, but nothing like the old days (70 cap and earlier). I definitely remember mom0 being a terror on Olympus as a thief. He was hands down the best player around.

I want the second one back. I didn't really play the first one much. :( Maybe the first would be better if the rewards were only better.

Anyways, i made this thread a very long time ago about what they should change.

I would prefer the first, or maybe the second system.
The first one was extremely fun with the thief popping and stuff.

But yeah, they're not gonna change it back. We can just hope for something better in "Silkroad 2".
