I've never really bothered to find out this before, but I'm starting to suspect it has something to do with, for example, how much damage a weapon does in which case I'm ofc interested in it

So if anyone could explain briefly what Magical and Physical reinforce values are and what they do it would be greatly appriciated!

They are very important. Much more important than Physical / Magical Attack Power(or Defense when it comes to protectors).

IIRC its the damage/defense multiplier, so yes its very important.

To further its importance. Reinforces won't go up when you + an item. The only way to increase them is by alchemy. That's why you should always try to get as high as possible on them (61%+)

bonus power = reinforce * stat
