one day when i was playing sro, i suddenly came up with this idea.
so far, this game has been very good to keep it related to the history of china and the silkroad and all that. and they've done a great job of creating the towns and the shops and buildings. however, it is way too peaceful in towns. they make the towns to be safe zones, so you will not be attack by other player or monsters.
but there are something missing in the towns. they are thiefs and robbers !!

i mean, no matter is nowadays or thousand years ago, thiefs and robbers do exist in towns and they rob people for money.
what they should do is make a npc thief/robber to appear in the town every few hours or even every hours, and the robber will go around and steal money from the players, like if the robbers get hold of you for 2 seconds, and he will steal 2% of the Gold u have. if you don't run away or attack the npc robber, it will keep stealing 2% of the Gold you have. the robber will not attack you, but he wll just keep stealing Gold from other people. until he is killed.
the amount of HP are determind by the amount of players are in town. more players in town, and the robber will have more HP. may be 25% of population in town add their HP togather to be the robber's HP. makes the robber kinda like a super giant. takes long time to kill.
and the best part is, whoever kill the robber can get the money that the robber has stolen from other players. lol
this would be fun
