server transfer

i need to know if you can transfer you character from one server to another...my friend plays on a different server and it's allways over populated so he waz going to move to the alps server if thers a way...can anybody help me out and tell me if its posibal and if it is how

heh that happened to me. I was playing on venice for a while when I started, but then I discovered my friends were on Rome. And I think I added a random guy to my buddy list instead of my frend >_>
