Well, here is a really good poll. A short while back each charicter had his or her underwear. The zombies where even nude. Well. This recent patch gave them all pajamas to wear. Do you agree with their decision, why or why not?

i enjoyed the boobies and things. and it makes oyu think, why are the chaaracters modelled and textured with them if we're not allowed to see it,

i'd like the nude edition back on one condition.

they give my guy some damn boxer shorts, not a feggin loin cloth x_X

ya gotta think though, its set back in the day, so they wouldn't have boxers yet.

of course, i don't think the female underware would be so complicated/intricite either.

You have it backwards. The nakedness was something they added by mistake- before, everyone just wore their level 1 clothing underneath everything, and now that they've fixed it (for the second time, I might add), it's back to "normal".

I don't particularly care, either way. I enjoyed running around topless with my Moogie character, for aesthetic reasons- I find the female form beautiful, and the artist did a wonderful job at texturing the zombiegirl. However, 98% of Silkroadians are male, and of them a very large majority would do nothing but parade their female characters around and make them act like little prostitutes to get themselves horny. So in that respect... it's probably best this way.

The nakedness is from the asian versions. There is less censorship in those games, therefore they allow the characters to be naked when they strip down. Following US laws, they have to cover up the game.. or otherwise put a disclaimer saying that there is nudity in the game.

Laws or no laws. I think it adds a sense of realism to the game. And only the zombie chaticter was the "real" nude charicter. If they could patch her up with some normal attire. Then it wouldnt be a big deal.

I like having freedom. I don't care about America complaining or freaking out over a stupid possibility of nudity. I think there should be a setting that allows us to choose if we want to see nudity; otherwise, the game can put undergarments on. That way, America can't complain.

Other thing is that I thought the famous United States of America is known as a land of freedom. Now, that is ironic!

Back to the point, I personally don't mind nudity, but I have had a naked male character dancing for me begging me to dance naked... now that bothered me. Just because I'm a girl... I always get irritated at how easily horniness can drive men to do anything so women would grant his wishes. Yeah, I know it's just a game, but sometimes it is disguesting... especially if you associate the actions to real life. Perhaps, I'm messed up for good because of my own past that makes this little thing irritating. I don't know. On other subject, I thought it was funny seeing people being naked while stalling. Surely, people think it will get more attention - sorry to say, I don't think it worked for me. LOL!

"Freedom" is a PR term. Don't be fooled.

don't really mind either way... but i'd like to have whatever the game was intended to have before american censorship came around.

Know how Spock made that robot melt down by saying "What I am saying right now is a lie?" You can do the same thing to progressives by asking them which they like better, freedom or equality.

I want the undie version back, people need to grow the hell up. It's a Teen rated game, not a E rated game. All these people that complained need to be smacked, ain't like they forced you to be naked.

you could always copy the 2.9 (nude) version over the current 3.0 version. I don't know if this is an acceptable solution (or if it’s “hacking” the game and is not allowed) but I could always host the exe file for people to download if there’s anyone wanting it.

the -other- thing they fixed with that patch was the bug where thieves would
crash out of game if they tried to sell their stuff to the goods dealer. so, if
you DO use this method, i wouldn't suggest doing any thieving ^^

I just want to walk around naked man...with my green undies and eyepatch. When i feel really sexy, I'll throw on the red cape ;D.

The game once had no undies when you took off all your armor? OMG lol. Sounds rather interesting, and I guess they took it out cause it was too inappropriate for teenage boys =P

hahah it's terrible, but seeing one of my friends or guildmates in this game running around naked evoked a similar response to what it'd be like if i was out at a bar w/ some of my friends and they just started drunkenly taking their clothes off... part of you is appalled at what they're doing and the rest of you wouuldn't be able to NOT watch if threatened at gunpoint ;)

I think its funny that people are talking about nudity. When really this topic is about underwear :3
