and the only reason why people actually think botting is an acceptable way of playing this game is because JM doesn't actually manage to ban them. Sure it's like living on the edge and you might get ahead of other people in the game, but you know the game wasn't meant to be played in this way, it's cheating, and takes out the fun from the legit players in the game.

Try to cheat in real life and see what happens.

I just find it sad that people have to cheat in multi player games so that they feel superior to other people. Sure they may be 'nice' people, but there's something called playing with morals, or sportsmanship (in sports... not sure if there's a gamesmanship? )

Why is it so hard for you to understand that being a cheater, and being trustworthy are complete opposites?



There's no "so-called" about it. We remove any bots we find.

Botters often claim to know of members of our guild/union who bot, but can never supply any names...



That kind of "statements supporting botting" are not welcome here.

How would you have known 'have no life at all' supports botting, smart boy. Cheating in this game means you are using a program to take advantage of the game, and how can you even compare that to being trustworthy, Deacon was such a great friend, you were too, but then Ilost it over a game, thats how you take a game seriously, thats why you have no life. I remember you saying that no matter what I did, we would still be friends and you wouldnt be mad at me, and here you are ..... me over a game.

at least he died trying. i hate people who botted to find their sosun item and they try to say they are legit. pfft

You shouldn't bot. We play by the rules so we can all have the same opportunites and play on a fair playing field. Botting is simply cheating.

HOWEVER- Now botting has become the normal thing to do. It is botting that is the fair playing field. I wonder what illegal advantage people will try to come up with next?

I have had quite a few ppl I know give up being legit and decided to bot instead and only because of 2 reasons.

1. They give and and adhere to "if you can't beat em join em."

2. They are tired of the game now with bots ksing them all day so they simply have given up. Much easier not to play and let the bot enjoy being ksed.

I used to play Diablo2 and was legit in that game. It was great before 1.09 but then it slowly went downhill.

First there was trade hacks and scams that ppl found.

Then came Pindle bot and Meph Bot.

Then came Hacked items you could purchase off Ebay. Items that could not possibly be found in the game.

Then these items were duped, so you had people who were scamming duped hacked items that were most probably bought with ccf from Ebay.

umm... YAY.

The game became pointless quite quickly just as this game is becoming pointless.

There was actually no item you could find in the game that was worth keeping because there was better hacked items you could get.

So, here are some questions to answer:

1. How long before we have hacked items in SRO?

2. Will GM turn a blind Eye to my hacked items if I buy more silk?

3. Will there be hacks soon like pk without getting murder status| speed hack| range hack | Underground Hack?

I know the ones I highlighted in red are quite possible. editing packets is not too hard.
