Well, like i said in many other topics, GM's are really working lately and they have been ingame a LOT on many many servers.
So, i totally got my faith back in JM.
The last few days have been full of pleasure for me and some others out there. GM's ingame a LOT, the lag patch we are getting tommorow, etc.
Is this it? The change in SRO history that will get rid of the billions of flames, bot topics, gold buying websites, unlegit players, scammers, angry people spamming topics about servers traffic, 10k+ bots banned?
Find out here, i asked morningdew and i feel it, this is going to be a change in SRO history that legits (maybe some botters too) like me have been waiting for :
http://www.silkroadonline.net/sro_board ... icID=10967
NOTE: If that link doesn't work for you please check the general chat's 1st page and see the topic by "RUNTOHOTAN" (my post account for sro.net) with the topic "Is this it? My faith in JM is back!"
This time please don't start any flames. Keep the topic clean.
For the first time in ages i am HAPPY, and i mean REALLY happy playing sro again.

Wow totally missed that lol sorry.
On topic: To be honest, this is just temporary.
Bot bans of December, everyone was thinking "maybe JM is doing something". Just temporary, like everything JoyMax.

Hmm your right, but JM might finally realize they can't keep up like this. Most of the players (including botters) are unhappy like this. It's different.
GM's ingame a lot recently, also different GM's.
That lag patch we are getting shows a LOT.

True again but they won't be giving the game a patch that doesn't even do what its supposed to do?

LOL are you new to SRO? (joke of course)
Look @ the ban lists.
How many people are banned on that list, but still play in game.

None. (HELP! ) Just kidding, there might be some mistakes who knows.
Still, BRING YOUR HOPE! BELIEVE IN JM! This is the start of a BIG change in the history of SRO.
BTW about your joke, tell me then, why would they bring out a patch that doesn't work? especially a lag patch since 80% has lag.

It's Oxyclean, not Oxclean.
Although I admire your faith in Joymax, I seriously doubt they're going to do anything that really change SRO for the better. The lag update sounds good and all, but so did the "war on bots".

And yes, i bet any other person would have already quit AGES ago if they would go/have been through what i've been through in SRO. I hope for a legit sro. That would totally change my life as well, Cause now i spend most of that in SRO now i still can. I will be playin silkroad for a looooong time from now , in an unlegit sro or legit. First of all, i was expecting a lot of replies like this, but "Theres an answer for everything".
True. I'm still waiting for a reply from morningdew and THAT will answer most of the replies in this topic and the replies coming

even if it was would that change you and your feelings on the game?
i was wondering what i would like more
bot free empty servers
or servers full with bots who actually pvp all day so whenever i want to pvp i don`t have to waste globals to find someone who want to pvp?
it is a hard choice i would love botters to change
botters should at least all go on spots so handgrinders could level without worrying about a ks bot near him.
If Joymax is going to change i would say it is already too late for it if they would ban any or lets say 30% of all player bots then even the legits would quit due to boredom.
I suggest Joymax gives us the patches/fixes first.

well if the plan is still to get GMs to ping suspected botters with pm, how much improvement can we expect. maybe some, but not going to be far reaching.

But i honestly think you don't play long enough to know about everything that happened in SRO. hellsharpt wrote: keep fighting the good fight. Thanks for the support. You can see above as a lie, or as an add-up in the list JM's recent actions.
I go for the second and im sure most if you will.

Theyve had updates for lag in the past, server upgrades and stuff like that. What happens?
The servers get even more screwed and we get a compensation event.
As for new GMs showing up, its happened before. Lots of people thought its the same GMs coming in on different names just to make it look like there are more of them. Who knows..

Don't get your hopes up. What about the "War against Bots"? Everyone was all happy that Joymax were going to ban thousands of botters, then what happened? That happiness suddenly turned into anger. I doubt Joymax is going to do anything much about botters. If you haven't noticed they always do this about once every month, come in the servers to ban a few high level player bots then go away til next season.

id like to believe that there is much going on at JM, but do the crew members check out forums like this one? if they did they might get our point lol. about the GM in game, i think they finally noticed the servers lag like hell so they will patch that now.
the problem with bots is that the gm are not in game to level or grind or farm, so they might not notice the bots so easily or they dont get irritated by em as much as the players do. sad to see the ban lists are almost similar to the ones they posted last time =/
things will definatly change, it just needs A LOT of patience
