I hit start on the SRO launcher this morning and it was the first time I started the game since the patch. My computer instantly blue screened and it was the hardware blue screen, not the uh oh some protected memory software one, so my comp of course shut off. I restarted and went to class then came back and started SRO again and all the buttons on the login screen were blank and the fields were all ?????s. And when I typed in my info and pressed what I knew what the login button the message in the bottom left said ??????FULL ????? ?????? ????????. So apparently I got the korean interface all of a sudden or something. I exited and restarted SRO and now it's in english again. Kiiiiinda strange. I fix comps professionally so I ruled out everything but it being Joymax's fault on their send but I was wondering if anyone else is randomly getting a non english GUI to login at.

the korean and english versions are probably both in the iSro release, Joymax just hoped you'd turn into a korean or something. (Brainwash?)

Did you happen to see what was being referenced by the BSOD?

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago and a client restart fixed it. Must be a stupid Unicode/localization issue. I didn't get the BSOD though, and it wasn't after an update.

well the way I see it is since I didn't have to download anything at all from the Tuesday "update" they must have changed something on the server side that is sending the wrong messages. As for the GUI, I have no idea because that's all hard coded into the executable.

it was the general "windows detected a problem with some piece fo your hardware" one but I couldn't read down fast enough to see if it told me what. It's prolly SRO screwing with the graphics card.

lol Korean? Noooo. I probably wouldn't even play spanish SRO if they had one cuz I don't speak it well enough and I actually know quite a bit. Which kinda makes you wonder about half the people who play iSRO without being able to read anything in game or converse with english players :? seems kinda hard
