Goddamit!
I started the game feeling good because I was gonna delevel my fire and get heuksal instead of bicheon.
I go out grinding and I'm doing fine, but then I lag up like fu ck when I'm fighting a white spider.

Then I keep hitting attack buttons so that it's dead when I'm out of lag, but then it keep hitting me, over and over again, and I'm pressing buttons to attack it back but nothing's happening.
I hit my hp pots frantically as my hp drops down severely low, then I get hit one more time, 14 hp left, and then I die. I"m like WTFFFF!!!! Because my stupid assmunch wasn't doing anything to defend himself.
Then the gay spider starts hitting my wolf, and now I"m trying to close down the game to end this misery!
But it keeps hitting it, and hitting it, and then my wolf dies.

When I start up the game again hoping it was some glitch, I'm dead and so is my wolf, and what the hell!
Don't be like "OMFG CALM DOWN!" because what the fu ck!? I can stand dying of lag or dc or whatever because that's expected, but I couldn't do ANYTHING.
I just kept getting hit over and over again as I stood there and then died.

Fu ck that.

meh, it was happening to me today. i got to lvl28 on my new character and delvled my skill tree to 19 to start farming, then the lag came when im at the horses. so i died, my wolf died, and i delvled. and then i had to kill mob for another 30min to get to lvl28 again because i have a 8 lvl gap, and each horse gives like 60 exp.

Was it this kind of lag?
Because I hate dying of lag, but at least I don't have to watch myself die if I'm just dced!
I had to watch my poor guy suffer, I'm gonna kill those sonofabich spiders for a long time to come!

Happened to me many times while I still played, and I'm a blader too. Then again, all my equipment is NPC.

sounds like that freezing bug from a few months back

also sounds like a very slow dc.. I once dced and it took like 5 minutes for the DC window to show >.> after logging in again I found my char back in town.

EDIT: a week or 2 back there was a major lag out of nowhere, I was lucky to be in Hotan at that time, but there was like 90 seconds lag or something.. everybody just froze lol

after the lag was over in a minute or 2 tons of people spawned in Hotan because they died lol

That happened to me twice earlier today.
First time I just logged off in grinding fields, when I logged back on I'm near the storage in hotan, I lost no xp, but my wolf was dead.
Second time I was killing something, then we all just froze, and like 3 mins later dc window comes up.
Now this.

I guess I should have heeded the omens and not got on. I'm not too mad about it anymore though, but that was a total bich!

yes, mine was a slow d/c as well, i watched my character's hp go down and then my wolf, then after another minute or so the d/c window popped up.

For me the dc window never showed up.
I wasn't ever disconnected, my game just froze, but packets were still being sent.

It's like watching yourself squeeze your balls SOOOO hard, but you can't stop it!

was happening to me on my old computer, I think it's a ram problem, now my comp have 2 go ddr2 and is pretty ok I had like 384 back in the day

I will agree with the replies. Its a very repeatable _lag of death_ event where the server basically stops taking input from your client. A while back it used to happen every night at exactly 11pm. One way of saving yourself when this happens is to kill the client or pull the network plug. Hopefully the server will realize you disconnected. It worked once and failed once. So its not a guaranteed solution but better than staring at your dead character.

That has happened to me several times, it ruins my entire day >_< ..... game cant kill me outside this kind of situation, good thing I am working at the moment, should that had happened to me it would have been the cherry top of a perfectly bad day >_<

lag and dc has been extremely bad. and i think it came together at the time when servers started to get increasingly impossible to log in.

funny thing is that many folks in europe & us that i encountered claimed that gameplay has been smooth as ever. morningdews claims they never get the lag and tends to point towards our own isp at fault.

my gameplay experience for the last 1-2 mths have been 10-30sec lag every 1-5min or so. longest being 90sec. a few occasions of DC when training. lag is worst when bots are around. there is still lag but much less severe when bots are not around. the worst was 1 occasion of lag>DC>respawn in hotan.

well i've never had lag problems like this before... until i made my very first int based character, then it starts to lag and my character has died 4 times already (in the past 4 days). my pure str never gets any lags. wth is this?

I had this prob wit me too ... Almost 7 to 8 times i have died and had to ress my wolf ...

Then i made up my mind to fix this ......

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay ... found out a way ...
Get "process explorer" this is equivalent to Task Manager but more powerful than task manager .....
Open it and go to Options > Hide whn minimised .. its still active on ur task bar ....

During, lag and u know ur dying .. open process exploree > right click and end SRO_client.exe ...

and end up breaking ur head to log in to the game

You guys wont believe but, i was lvl 52 and i died at the uruchii's spawn zone with a black robber atacking me.
I couldnt do anything and my hp kept going down, down, down...it took like 5 mins and i died lol, i was like

i usually just turn off my computer and restart the game... Ctrl +Alt +Del

Tht happens me right before i d/c, which has only happened a couple times other than inspection.

This is why im not playing the last 5 days.
Just because of it...
