Crit on a shield is the chance you have of parrying(in other words, stopping) a crit that would hit you. If you parry the crit, you take normal damage instead.

Just another thing that makes blades even more of a tank.

to make it simpler, crit on shield just makes u luckier in not getting crit by others, the higher the better

i have a lvl 64 shield with 100 crit does this mean that i will block crits 100% of the time?

No. For every 10 crit in your shield, I think it's 1 crit reduced. So 100 crit would be 10 crit down I THINK.

I've always seen 100 crit reduce as a 50% reduce..so halved. So 60 would be around 30%.

So 20 crit would be reduced to 10 (theoretically)
