 Post subject: I need help with .pk2 editing.

I want to PK2 edit but I dont know if I make my 5th degree armor LOOK like 8th degree.. Will it make it so I cant see the stats? And, how exactly do I go about Pk2 editing. Can someone tell me how to turn normal into SoSun and 8th degree? Thanks! :D
