Warning about PayPal

Hi, For those of you who use PP u might have recived an email like this..

and i must warn u this is a pishng site just like the JM email that tells ur account will be banned if u dont update ur info so yea i dont know if i shall reveal the link or not?? but for god sake for those who DO have PayPal DO NOT ENTER THOSE EMAIL's i will give you the email if you want im not sure if its allowed but hopefuly a mod will take action and remove the link/email if its not allowed

i got this email yesterday and i noticed at once it was fake cuz... i dont even have paypal :shock:

so yea i will give u this warning to my fellow SRF friends and if you get this email delete it AT ONCE!!!

I got that email too. I thought they warned me because my credit card was expired...
Anyway, luckily I deleted that email.

But how do u know that was a phising site?

NuclearSilo, when you see the link it looks like the real one, but if you move your mouse over it and read the address at the bottom in the status bar, you'll notice it's a different address.

Everyone...do this

Just don't use the same email you do on forums that you use for SRO

and you will be okay

make a seperate accoutn for sro
there are so many yahoo, hotmail gmail, even aol (<---meh)

imho, people that use the same e-mail address for their SRO accounts and forum accounts are dumb and somehow deserve to be "hacked".
