Post subject: How fast does pure str glaive lvl compared to other builds?  Posted: Sun Jun 17, 2007 12:20 am |

As title says. I want to know if pure str glaive has a decent time lvling compared to other builds. Also what lvl i would reach or around there with a GT. And only playing with the 3 hours of the GT time no more than that.
Yea this is like my old topic but i wanted to make a new one

From what i know, slower than int builds, only faster than blade i believe. I know a friend who just switched from blade to glav cause the lvling speed

Well so i guess i should have made int heheh i dont think Glavie too slow... but compared to other i believe...
I think u should go for wich u got more fun 
I did like lvl 32 in a month playing like 5=6 hours(wich is same or even less than a GT) And a lvl 32-50 in other month
and 2 months from 50-66 ;p

depends how much you grind I am 67 on pacific which imo i pretty good considering I have taken 3 weeks off since it opend and havent really grind much in the past week cause of rl stuff.
so if you got the time to grind like 6 hours aday and know what to grind on to get the best exp its easy really.

I found glaive to be the fastest str build out there, the range of bow isn't great enough to compensate the low damage compared to glaive.

yea, bow's dmg & execution time sucks...after soul spear soul, glaive will most likely out lvl bow

INT Builds > Bow / Glavie > Blade.
Glaviers that know what they're doing can level almost as fast, if not just as fast as Bow builds.

Use a junk bow to piss off mobs enough to get them to come after you, then switch back to glaive and get to work. Bows level a lot faster to 40ish then they slow down a bit, glaives aren't overly grueling and the skills are pretty.

crit 10+ bow and ur set.
antidevil steel and demon/devil arrow should be more than enough..WITHOUT having to run as much as glaivers.
i actually laugh at glaivers, to me it seems their pve is the worst in the game.

I think a Bow Wont 1 hit kill monsters without crit... Just like glaviers...
Well I usually kill monster With Fly + SSS... And when giants, just go for SSS+SST+MARS...all the way...

Glaive could be just as fast as bow. If you use silk arrows, then bow can be way faster. Hmm, I've never played with pure str glaive past lvl 48, but if you zero gap with pure str bow you could get lvl 69 in about 4weeks with silk items and xp/sp helper (caffeine, cigarettes, and sleeping 2hrs every other day).

and we have range.
so while you run to a monster and attempt ur crit, we stay back and crit a fair amount of times with steel then move along.
