Now i know people say its a supple demand thing..well it isnt

its basicly comes down to is that people got gready...and started to
rise prices...and then more people do it because they think "well if he
can get away with it why cant i".

I mean if am item sells at an NPC for 20k...then why does it sell from
200k in a stall...hell a while back someoen tried to sell me a lv32 sos
glave for one of my characters, at 40million

and when i asked why he was charging so much he simply called me a
"noobcake" (child ) and logged off

so i wanna know what you other peopel out there think about item prices
in this game...to high...to low...or just right?



UPDATE

well know with euro coming out next month and a new range of weapons
shortly after we can acpect prices to drop....but on the other hand i dont
think am wrong in saying that many people will be selling quite comman
and simple eurp drops for stupidl high prices during the first few weeks
as everyone will be the same lvl and wont one.

but while on the Chinese side of SRO we can expect prices to drop as we
know now that higher lvl weapons means that the current highest lvl are
not the highest and so their prices will drop.
but will this mean a drop in prices for all lvl of weapons and items?

The prices are just stupid, it's one of the reasons I hardly play anymore. I just login occasionaly to see if I can find a cheap chest or legs or play around with some alchemy. It'll be interesting to see how much a 9th degree weapon goes for at the next cap, probably 30+ mil clean lol

I agree... only been playing this game since November 06 and since then I've watched the prices skyrocket like the gasoline prices did after hurricane Katrina!! But yea, I still feel like I sell myself short on a lot of things, but I gotta make room in my storage somehow! But there are those times when you find a sweet deal and maybe make a few bucks reselling.

I run silkroad online's marketing system like wallstreet.

By making a decent profit at the same time,but not so that it's way overpriced.

If you have a decent balance in you're prices,people tend to shop at you're store more often.

Be fair,but don't be stupid.

Even got called a bot and gold buyer by some noobs, just because my stall was full with sos

back to topic if something isnt done about prices soon i can see a
silkroad "crash" (gold wise that is). i know it sounds stupid but in real
life this is what happens...the bottom will fall out from this market aswell

I find prices to be way too dang high I remember when I played Tibet when it like came out and prices were fairly low and now the dang wep elixers and So stuff is just outta control now

+1 they sell for almost 300k on bable now

Yeah I remember selling my sos lvl 42 +3 spear for like 20 mil, now they go for like 40 mil. That is just insane, and I think it is due in part to greed, and there is little supply and demand involved. The truth is, more sos drops have occured since the update, not to mention the addition of lvl 72 weapons which should have logically dropped prices.

what ur syaing is for prices to cheaper thats never gonna happen unless the gold selling industry is gone

since theres No Npc to compare prices to they can sell for whatever they want

in GW i farmed Obsiden Shards
there rpices would change constaly due top they could be bought fomr a npc

if there was an NPC who sold Sox Weapons
people would base there rpices on that NPC

they remain high on top of the fact i remain poor lol.

They won't drop.
People won't sell lower then they bought and most will even raise the price a bit.
And as long they get it sold for the outrageous prices, they will never lower the price.

that is the key right there, but everyone buys shit for whetever price and thats why the prices just keep going up... people just keep buying more gold O_o

Sometimes it amazes me the things that sell for inflated prices. After learning that lvl 16 equip with high stats sell for stupid sums of money, I located and bought for normal prices some of these, including a bow with a crit of 12 and a shield with a Block of 16, plus a spear and glave with crit 7. I sold ALL of those for 4-5 times the actual price. The bow sold for 75k. Meanwhile I have some lvl 64 armor that I'm selling below NPC price (not great stats, got by luck for free) that I CANNOT sell, and I can't get any decent prices for rudolphs or weap elixer that I have.

Now I have to figure out how much the SoS and SOM drops I just picked up recently are worth. I don't want to sell just yet but I'm curious as to their worth.
