I think we should all post our results and comments about the trade run. Also try and post screenshots, or vids that were taken during it. This way people could see how good ( or -awful-) it was. ENJOY!

Thanks to everyone participating and helping out. A few dissapointments to some of the guilds turning their backs on us, but thats their loss. Atleast we now know how much their words are worth.

& blame ur hunters, i was the only thief & it wasn't until i took out all the taders (loots were everywhere) that ur hunters even noticed me...all the ppl decide to come thief the loots after i crashed the run

& i barely got 2 oxes of loot...i did the dirty job, then every other thief magically appears & cleans up ...i wanted more loot

i would've been a hunter if there were thiefs, but seeing from the start that the thiefs didn't dare come...i decided to thief....even sosun blader fllly decided to thief afterwards for god knows

Kratos, c'mon, man. No trade run, especially a server trade run, is any fun without a little bit of Thieving. If you make it through, then you feel like you've accomplished something. Besides, it's FUN, man. So what if he thieved a few people? It's a thief's responsibility to crash the party of a few traders frollicking through the valley.
Hunters + Merchants + Thieves = Fun.

I made a video of the traderun for all that are interested, probably will be finished tomorrow.

Yeah, he maybe an asshole, but you had to expect someone to come ruin your fun if you were announcing such an event for a whole week. Besides, it was the hunter's jobs to assure this did not happen. They weren't prepared, too bad. It isn't the thieves' responsibility to kindly ask everyone "Ok, is everyone ready for me? Or should I give you another second?" It's what makes jobbing fun.

Take this little event as a lesson instead of a reason to hate on the other players taking a different job.

if you do a server trade ur expecting for toruble and action you got some XD would have love to be there ^^

sunmoon, nice, i was riding around looking at the trade, there was loot all over jangan. I wanted to suit up but i was having too much fun watching the thieves

was just riding arnd following & pretty much 1 high lvl thief+light merc killed all the camals in less than 1minute...then ppl started to come as thief or go change to thief to come reap the goods

Haha I am in one of your screenshots. Yea, I got so mad. I didn't know that everyone went through the West Gate cause I was like so excited that a bunch of people were here. Well, since I got there late I was kinda in the back and one of those Sin guys took me out.

I had fun, got to use my mercs no matter how useless they actually were, me not being lvl 80 and all. But I enjoyed getting the server to WAKE UP!

Never seen so much jobbing going on in one day. Krat you did a very good job planning the event and getting people to show up.. regardless who turned their backs on us or who is to blame for what.

Try not be so hard on yourself, because no matter what there will always be someone or something that is "Bigger Badder and Better". It was a risk and a challenge that we were all willing to take

Why was the trade scheduled during event time? Maybe it should've been moved: I bet people would've taken more interest in hunting and trading. Considering they have been grinding their fingers off, thieving is a lot more fun way to break the monotony imo. My thoughts.
The spamming..... I gotta say I support SunMaiden on that one. Wasn't too organized---thieving is a part of every server trade run. If it was fun, it was a success.

i find that absolutely flippin halarious, 1 thief with merced wiped out a SERVER trade run? holy shit! kudos to the thief, you have my gratitude for pullin that shit off!

Lol, i lost about 100k gold..dont ask me in what i just lost it...about 7% of my level but i had loads of fun....i kept getting killed but it was fun (i'm level 21)...even despite me being as sneaky as hell and going straight in the center of the trade (and taking all my cloths and weapons..etc off for ppl not to recognize my level [i was in a level 20 horse though] ) after we got out of town i was nearly invisible but then i saw a thief just coming in between all the traders and hunters and noone was doing anything to him i was like wtf? O.o...the dude is a thief why wont ppl attack him? and then i got a shot and died (just a shot..a single damn shot...well it took a shot to kill the horse and then a shot to kill me )...then i went back to town..i had the idea of going back and getting by goodies but then i said now..i will be crushed and cut to pieces by the time i get back to where i lost my goods..so i took off the trader suit..walked around until the 10 mins pass by then found myself a sweet lovely quite spot with some goodies and a high level thief nearby..i thought he could own any hunter that comes...so i got into the thief suit summoned the horse got the goodies started the scroll then a high level hunter came..single shot the horse..single shot me..i was dead..the hunter stood for a while like he was checking the thief and then left..i was like WTF? O.o (yes..again) dude he is a thief..dude that was a hunter..fight..kill...do your thing....but then the hunter just left in peace without even talking to the thief ..but i couldnt give up i got back to town back in thief suit and did the same thing but kinda like the same situation happened.

Of course that was a load of money spent on a five star trade, lots of scrolls, lots of horses, lots of horses..the other kind .

Note to self -> never go on a five star trade again even if you were surrounded by dozens of high level traders and hunters..just like the case here...kinda

But again i had great fun watching the wars =)

The funny thing is..however..before the trade run was made...all the active hunters, traders..etc that were around the area were in the town..and while i was going on a walk before the run was made i just saw some goodies on the ground took them and went back to thief town and got myself some money and exp and that was my first job i ever do on silkroad.

That whole trade run was not a very bad experiment in my opinion cause i got to learn quite a few things...like...well....i'll just work on that later =P (atleast i saw some kool nukes in the process =P )

Anyway its a game..so i'm not really pissed.

lol i read it all, and it sounds extremly familar to me... hmm mabe cuz the same exact thing happened to me! I did a 5 star trade.. made sure i was in the middle of the crowded.. everything was good till we passed the bridge. Thats when everyones npc thiefs began to spawn. It was a crazy battle between the hunters who were killing em.. One thing though.... Those stupid hunters didnt have the common sence to kill the player thiefs.. I died, and then after that I quickly came from jangan.. and saw my stuff on the ground, and like literally hundreds of other loot all over the ground.. I picked my stuff up.. died in 1 hit again from the stupid player thief, who kept surprising me... then i kept saying resssssssssssss for about like 1min.. finally a hunter ressed me. I picked up my stuff again, and died again. This repeated like 5 times..seriously ...Then i decided everyone must be almost done with the trade.. so i took off my trader thing.. I then decided to become thief . hehe It was hard to get some loot because there were tons of hunters. as u can see in my screenshot above when im talking to sunshine, i was saying " be sneaky" and that stuff.... Oh well the point is after i became thing i picked up tons of things, went to a good spot, and died again in 1 hit from hunter this time... I didnt give up.. i did it again, and finally got 1 successful 4star loot, thiefed.. got 56% thiefing Oh well i had fun...

Krat planned the trade before we knew when the compensation event would start..

And I just want to say to those who get discouraged about doing multi star trade runs.. I've successfully guarded 5*'s and we could have easily been taken out. It's takes luck and a little strategy. You don't always need a lvl 80 hunter to back you up but even if you do have high lvl friends its always nice to have them around hehe.

End of June o_O. Just pointing out its not a real complaint, but I think it could be one of the intangibles as to why so many people started thieving. Maybe next time, when something like this happens, we should hasten to reschedule the trade so it does not clash with the event.
