There's a problem with Euro chars trying to fight uniques. In the Chinese race, almost anyone, with the right level, equipment, build, and skills, can kill any of the uniques, and have their name flash globally. The European race, on the other hand, because they are more specialized (like the Cleric) and more dependent on party play, cannot defeat almost any unique.

The Cleric for example, because it's specialized in healing and buffing parties, is not very good at defeating uniques. The Bards could also have this problem, again due to specialization. However, this can be solved by just using the Cleric, Bard, and even Warlock classes as submasteries. But in doing this, player variety is decreased.

Bleh, just a few thoughts while playing cSRO...

It won't matter anyway because all the High lvl Chinese jerks will be camping at all the Euro Uniques so they can have there name flash throughout the server

Question, is it possible at all for bard or cleric or whatever other support chars to get a unique kill? Can they even kill? Like sing mobs to death or something?

They have attacks, yes. But they are not builds meant to kill so the skills are weak, but in a party, you probably won't be attacking but buffing, so maybe it doesn't matter that much...

don't even wanna think about the sosun wizard getting yark kill every time <_<

everyone keeps thinking that the buffers and healers have no attack skills and that is just not true!!!! how would they be able to lvl up by themselves ya know? of course the bards and clerics have attacks but they wont really be using them because they are there to buff and heal and keep everyone else alive haha

DarkJackal was a bard when we played KSRO's Europe and he got the Cerberus kill. I bet he posts pics before too much longer. lol

i thought sama killed yarkan with a cleric at lv4

clerics and bards don't fight uniques alone most of the time!! Wizards and Pure str based classes mostly get unique kills! Not saying that clerics and bards don't at all! The player chose to be a cleric or bard to help other players not to kill uniques!!

cool down ... well, i think uniques should be left alone by all those freakin highs. i dont even camp isy anymore... its fun for the people who level at karakoram to kill her, its not like 45k noncrit damage on her. so well, if a well balanced party gets to see cerberus, the cleric should be healing, shouldnt he?

i mean, a shitload of xp for the whole group > your name flashing for 2 seconds.

Thats we me and my guild got a little while ago (hunting kerberos on Csro)

the one with the last hit is "the killer" of the unique... so just get the last hit and everyone knows your name for 2 sec and forgets about it again.

sorry but that is not correct at all. Iv'e seen dead players getting the kill.
I thought all already knew that:

The player that does the most damage in the party that does the most damage gets the unique kill

yup.. so the wizards should get the kill....
but with the 30 seconds pot use delay en the spawns, its very hard for a healer to keep the party alive...
europe characters suck, look at cSro.. go to hotan... and you'll see 90% chinese characters... the highest lvl europe character I saw was lvl50 or something
