CAN THEIVES KILL ANYONE?

ever since i started playing in the DW area, i've seen thieves attack other players - normal players who were just hunting monsters. I have been repeated been attacked by high lvl theives too. ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS : CAN THIEVES ATTACK ANY ONE?!

Thiefs can attack only hunters and traders (if they have not 1*)

You were probably attacked by an NPC thief

I remember the days when I used to shout at NPC thieves after I got killed by them; I thought they were real people :roll:

Well thieves can attack anyone they want to if they simply hold down the ALT key before clicking

Then again, that can be said for any player, thief or not.

my lvl is around the 20's and im not a hunter or a trader or a thief, im just doing quests. I've heard about the 'murder' thing in which anyone who attacks a player without any reason will have his\her name in pink and if they do kill the other player, it will turn red. Does this apply for thieves too?

I'd also like to note that most of the time the thieves who attack players were not NPC

=P 1* safety will still save a merchant if your in a thief suit and try to pk xD...

A trader with goods generates his own thieves, computer thieves, that attack him. Sometimes they attack players instead. They are not real people, they are just like mobs. A player thief can only attack hunters or traders, not regular players.

When we get the update, hopefully this will be a problem that gets fixed to some degree.

omg i did that too !!!
me and my friend were playing sro together and till we got to lvl 20 we thought that this guy "Thief" is a hacker and he can double him self lol
