I am at a loss,

I hope this was not already posted someplace else, if so, then I am sorry.

I was looking on one of theose gold sites and seen where they sell items and even accounts. I noticed that a lvl 20 account goes for 19.99 and the highest level was like 70 and it was $699.00 !!!

Do people honestly pay nearly 700.00 for a high level SRO account?

If so, uhm why?

where is the fun in that? I mean the appeal of playing is reaching the ultimate goal in a legit way. Just do not understand.

So I ask you all,
Have you ever bought an account or have you ever sold an account? Just curious as to the story behind all of this.

X

Hope it is not too noobish of a subject

I'd buy one if i had money to burn..
-You spend a ton on silk
-PvP's fun, Grinding is boring. It's a
game not a job.

I have sold 2 accounts, 1 lvl 68, and 1 lvl 50.

I dont see a problem in buying or selling accounts. For those of us who work for a living, and dont have time to become strong enough to PVP. So if u dont have the time to grind like a mad man for the next year u got 3 options. Bot which is the easiest and cheapest, Power leveling which is horridly expensive. Or buy an Account.

So taking the lesser of evils I would have no problem buying a account.

powerleveling a char for like 1000 bucks is extremely dumb. you also get no control over any SoX drops the person leveling your character recieves.

Remember the price of the PS3 recently dropped by $100 to $499

It may seem like a lot, but consider the amount of time it would take to lvl your char up that high. 3~4 months? You could be working a job instead and making lots more money.

Personally, I find buying a lvl 70 char pointless, if you want instant gratification go play Counter Strike.

3000? so thats 3000/699= 4,2 chars to lvl 80 each month? (yes i had to use calculator for that)

Thats a pretty fast bot o0

Ok, this is what I don't get about people, leveling and grinding is part of the game, the process might be extremely boring but why would someone pay others to play the game for them?

Cause they want to beat everyone ingame. How does not matter.

-.=''
They're not really beating anyone when they're paying someone else to play for them now are they? They are just using other peoples' work as they're own.

I personally would never bot or buy an account. I want to play my own character, build it up all on my own, and have the satisfaction of knowing that it'll eventually pay off.. You never know when you're gonna get a sosun, i'd rather watch it drop than be pleasantly surprised at a shiny being in my rabbit
