Weird Chat Filter Flaw

k so my guildmate Kobasen was talking and he was saying how all his sounds are turned off on sro. so he went to type "i turned off all sounds" and it wouldnt work- blocked by chat filter. so we figured out that if you go to type "f sounds" it is blocked by the chat flter. However, "f sound" or any other combos by subtracting letters arent blocked. Go try it for yourself.

"if u" is blocked as well.

Actually, now that I think of it, it's pretty much any combo of "f u" or "fu" except the actual F word. You can't even say "....." or "fck" I don't think.

You can also say "wtf" and "shit"

Prior to the Euro update, I mentioned to Joymax the problem with the filter and how it blocked the popular phrase "if u." But instead it looks like they just enabled the F-word. Meh.

I have also been having problems typing just ordinary sentences that couldn't possibly suggest anything negative. Joymax sucks at English.

i have had problems with typing normal sentances too
it happens most when you type sumthing very long and then it doesnt do it
and you cant be bothered to type it again

lol we all know fu*k isnt blocked anymore but im pointing out this random phrase is just blocked for no reason.

go ingame and try to type "f sounds" without the quotes and its blocked.

IMO they should just allow swear words of any kind.

believe me, after i blow 50mill on elixirs and powders getting my sword back to +5, when i say 'F*CK ALCHEMY!!!', there is no other word in the english language that can adequately express my emotions

yeah i personally dont care for the chat filter either, it just complicates things when it makes it so you arent allowed to say common phrases due to the chat filters flawed algorithm making it think certain combinations of letters are "almost a bad word".

yeah the chat filter is completely screwed over =.=

at least we can all say f*ck, b**ch, sh*t etc again but normal scentences are blocked, have to retype the dam thing out 5 times to figure out what word makes it block lol. so annoying

Yeah, for some reason. There are a lot of "of <something>" sentances blocked.
