So what if we use the party matching system as a form of some kind of "auction house." Like people just put what they want to sell in the name of the party, and wait for people to join and start bidding.




No more globals required.
Don't have to swap towns to use stall network.
But yeah, just a better convenience way of selling your things. Im not saying abandon the old way.

too bad no one looks for a sosun+9 in a party matching window thingy...

Did this once on pacific, when I was bidding for a sosun ring 64. But if you want to make an auction house, its better if you have more players to see the auction (and not just 7).

Ran an open auction in DW once and players didnt really understood the purpose of bidding. A lot didnt honor their bids.

Ran an auction using globals, I get lots of interests from players who came to Hotan, and later pm me if I could sell them the item for cheaper. I hate it when they try to force the price down further after initially agreeing a trading price. Then I go to the second highest bidder, who again changed their mind and tried to further reduce the price.

Unless theres a proper auction system in place, or someone to regulate / reinforce the rules, its hard to run an auction on SRO.

I'm a keen auctioneer (did alot on other online games), but its too difficult to do with sro, unless they introduce user chat block. All the spam isnt really helping.
