This is in the context of being in a guild.
Active doesnt mean grinding only, but includes contributing to the guild in some way, be it chatting in guild/union chat. Helping in doing jobs/guild wars etc. Passive activities like stalling for a guild member doesnt count.
Starting off with a short story  :
When I was playing in Sparta...
GodsAngel " no wonder ppl think we bot. I asked them wht they mean by active. They said 3 hrs, 3 days a week o_0".
Sylhana "wtf? we play like twice that lolz".
Everytime I recruit new players to my guild, I keep remembering the conversation above . (miss you T,T friend/mentor, msg me if you read this :hopeful:)
Anyway, so if you are running a guild and recruiting players, and you want active players, what kind of hours do you expect from them? I'm aware that some guilds dont have this as a criteria for recruitment. If thats the case, how many gaming hours in a week would you consider a player to be very active? (just in general)

Coming online once per day or two, stays "active" grindig trading talking for maybe 2 hours would be fine by my definition.

Active for me is playing almost every day. Hours do not matter, as long as you are on every day.

lol most of you probably dont even realize you play more than 23 hours a week (not day if you dont know how to read) but you start mocking it. 23 hours a week is 3.5 hours a day roughly so think about it. if you have a gold ticket or skill ticket, you bet your ass you play 23 hrs or more each week.

True. I made it to measure as 'hours in a week', cause some players play more during the weekends.

very active player=goes to computer and in sro when wakes and stops the playing when goes to sleep,thats called nolifer,i play max 2 hours a day,or less

once i played for about 12-14 hours non stop
it takes a lot of coffee, but i suggest you do not do this as your char will die about 10 times cos you have fell asleep at the kb

i play about 3-4 hours a day , weekends probably more , no i do not leech money from my parents cause i work by my self, and on weekends going out to pool, gym, going out wih friends, they are working too so i dont have a problem with it xD
i call this no life btw... -.-

Very Active is at least 4 hours of play each day. One or two days of break during the week.
But one does not need to be Very Active to enjoy the game.
