The Turkish Issue.

I see alot of complaints about people who hail from Turkey in game and out of game. While Im sure that many of them are backed legitimately I thought today about how much of a pain in the ass it must for them with alot of people who dont speak their language, as it is for us trying to talk to them. I went online and found some turkish phrases/translations today and actually managed to have a very limited conversation with a Turkish guy.

Dont judge a book by its cover, or a person by their country imo

What we see is just a Minority of them.

I come from a MMO I played 2 years,KnightOnline,the one that knoes this MMO knoes it probably the MMO with the most turks in it,they are being hated,they dupe/hack/cheat,but its not any turks,its some kids,yes some 11years old and lower kids.I talked with some mature turks and they are as any americans/canadians what so ever.So dont judge the whole contry,the idiot's you see are just some stupid kids.

you should gather up a bunch of the used phrases and make a turk guide for speaking on sro , I think someone did that awhile back with viet language or some others, could be useful for us though

I find it hard to keep an international union stick together. We've had some turkish guilds in our union come and go, and its usually because of one or two ignorant idiots in the union who thinks its ok to use racist slurs (including among other things blaming players from turkey for everything). Always try to make any player from any country feel welcomed in my union. The language difference isnt a barrier, its a reflection of our individual culture

I was borrowing a char from a friend (cant remember the server) but I met the nicest guys there. Three guys from Turkey that I used to go thiefing with. Can only remember one name - oxolo_tr, really nice guys. All turkish

I've only known good turkish players. They are cool to you if you are cool to them. Never had any problem with the Viets either. Those of you who complains about any of these, look at yourself first.

I only have problems with Turkish people who go 10kplz or fack ure mother etc.

Ive met some cool Turkish people and they are pretty cool tbh

You should expect this from a country such as turkey where 95% of the population follow a religion which oppresses women, stones people to death and limits the right of its citizens. Much more radical than the White Christian extremist on America.

Their culture reflects upon this game. I personally think ITS NOT THE MINORITY. But the Majority of turks are plain rude, annoying, non-caring **** your muther rape your sister kind of ppl. I draw this from experience, there is no prejudice behind my observations ^^.

Have you ever been to Turkey? Or are you making a reference to Islam in general? Cause it is somewhat liberal there in Turkey.

Dont generalize your observations online, with how the majority of people in Turkey act. You get kids online, and kids act like kids.

I'm a Turk and i see that you dont know anything about Turks and Turkey..Have you ever been to Turkey? or Have you ever searched anything about Turkey or Turks? You think that Turkey is similar to Iran or Iraq but it's totally different here..what you do is misjudging a whole country because of some exceptionals..

And what about Viets? Correct me if i'm wrong, but i remember the days when there were talks from JM about server(s) only for Vietnamese ppl...that sucks for them beying distjoined from others

Yes.

They created VSRO = Vietnam SRO. But most viets live in the states,canada..uk.So they still can play on isro ^.^

I agree with you Riz. There is a guy of Turkish nationality in Nemesis and you won't be able to tell who he is

Usually we do find that a specific race has more idiots/noobs/scammers but it shouldn't be the standard by which we judge everyone in that race.

You sir are a moron. Most Turkish kids playing sro cant speak English. Most American kids could (biiig assumption). Where do you think Turkish kids pick up such language? Media, online games tralalala.

I've always wondered why there are so many Turkish people playing SRO (Polish people too). Their population in the game seems to be overrepresented in relation to their country's actual population. I've not seen the same phenomenon in other MMO games.

The turkish ones just bug me a little bit more cause they don't understand what "go away" etc. means and most of the time keep pressing the exchange button.

Right, you must be smart enough to understand then that most Turkish kids cant hold down a normal English conversation because English language is not part of their formal education there in Turkey. Well did you know that?
