Sigh.

Since JM made it clear not to use an altered client to play with, that pretty much puts users who pk2 edit in danger of being banned. Having said that, it does happen but rarely one would get banned from pk2 editing. You are more likely to get errors when running with an altered client. So ask yourself if pk2 editing is worth the risk? If it is then just go for it (its your choice).

Players who bot have to use an altered client, to disable gameguard. I know this cause I used to alter the client alot, disable gameguard, give it zoomhack, disable chat filter (from pk2) and other trivial things I rather not mention. That said, there are already players botting now. Are they instantly banned? no. Will they be banned? hopefully. So its your choice what you want to do. No one is qualified enough to answer your question other than a JM employee.

So thats my answer to your question. Hope it helps you to come to a decision.

No, I dont have zoomhack now. Running a clean client. Dont really need it anyway. If I get in a bind cause there are so many mobs, just hold down 'v' :)

Hence my earlier preference to ask him/her to find out themselves :), and a prompt reply told me to stfu. W/e I must be tired.

GG Is already Disabled.

Start silkroad legit, and check ur taskmanager, and you gonna see sro_client.If GG would work, you would not see sro_client @taskmanager.

There is absolutely no way Joymax will know if you PK2 edit. All media.pk2 files have different sizes and therefore different checksums.
