 Post subject: Joymax Hates PK2ers :(

Ok, well I spent like 4 hours downloading the kSRO client, installed it after renaming my iSRO folder, and then my iSRO gets deleted! Okay, whatever, so then I copy the data.pk2 and particles.pk2, uninstall kSRO and then re-install iSRO. Pop in the data.pk2 and particles.pk2, open up pk2extractor, and what do I find, EURO DEG 12 ITEMS!! :shock:

Now I'm thinking, hell ya, this was worth it. So I pop open my hex editor and replace the deg 1 items with the deg 12 bsrs, load up my game, and to my dismay ... :cry: ... the deg 12 bsrs were actually ... DEG 1! Yeesh, now why would Joymax do that, just to taunt us pk2 editors?

Anyways, now I decide to keep the kSRO pk2s since the deg 9 euro items aren't in the iSRO ones, so I proceed to transfer my colour-edited seal efps, just to find that for some reason, Joymax changed the size of like half of the efps, so I can't just directly copy and paste it. Now I have to spend 6 hours tomorrow doing it by hand again. (To those that edited their seal colours, they'll know this takes a heck of a lot of time)

I didn't even get to play the event today. Sigh.

*Okay, so this thread has a purpose, deg 12 and probably deg 11 in the kSRO data.pk2 look just like deg 1.

maybe you did something wrong, and maybe thats why it shows up as 1degree stuf

What about 10D? is the 10D available in the ISRO pk2?
I must see the 10D bow lol, would appreciate it if you showed us 8)

Here's an easy way to do it.

Download/Install KSRo

Take KSRO's data.pk2 and replace ISRO's with it.

edit your media.pk2 to change the bsr's only. not the ddjs. The icons are located directly in the media.pk2. In order to get them in there...I have no clue. I'm just a noob.

Works for me anyway :) degree10 with degree9 icons - meh! They're !@#$ing beautiful!

3.edit isros media.pk2
4.have fun

Unpacking the file and viewing the textures wouldve saved you 5.5 hours.
