Im wondering, has anyone compared stats of 64 seal items with academy weapons?
For instance, are stats of lvl 70 academy sosuns higher than of lvl 64 normal suns? Or maybe the stats are similar, and the only thing that differs is the required level to equip them?

Required Level to hold them i guess. 64+15 = 79, my 72+7 = 79 has same stats as a Lv70 Honor, hope you understood that, lol.

Ok, thanx. That's what i thought.
A real lvl 70 sosun would be just too good.
Too good for gold bot owners (who will surely be the first to get those suns), and too bad for everyone else :)

Yea, if you are not a gold bot owner, then it'll take forever to get 2500 honor points for a sosun..... you will have inactives, some of them wont graduate at all, some will be slow grinders. those who graduate will rarely bring you more than 30 honor points, because only a few will stay in the same academy all the way from level 1 to 40.

And even if you do have gold bots, and add them to your academy at lvl 1, it will still take lots of time.
You will need 64 graduates to get an academy sun:
2500 honor points / (40-1=39) honor points per person = 64 graduates.
Lets say, it takes 10 days for a normal gold bot (no skills, except self heal and grass walk; no baby sitting) to get to lvl 40.
Then all 64 graduates will reach lvl 40 in:
64 apprentices * 10 days each / 5 apprentices in academy = 128 days.

There's a way around that - powerleveling your apprentices all the way to 40 with another char. Then one round of graduates could take a day or two of 24 hours of powerleveling, instead of 10. Then it goes down to a month or so. But thats a lot of work, even with a pure-bot academy.

its the same bonus that a normal sun wep adds to a lv 64 weapon except the highest you can get is a lv 70 now, so a lv 70 academy wep will obviously beat out a normal lv 64 sun. Only problem is the alchemy factor because its basically an npc weapon, but it can be fixed easily 8) . But good luck to the academy master who gets 2.5k points.. hell by the time that happens perhaps 9th degree will be out and you'll need even more points.. :D

It shouldn't be unrepairable but simply untransferable, cause you loose all the goddamn effort you spent to get it and pimp it in about 1 month (if you dont use it for grinding etc..)

Well, if academy sosun stats are similar to those of a 72+7=79 (as PeeN said), then obviously academy sosuns are not 70+15=85...
Even if PeeN's weapon has high %, 6 level difference is huge, and a 70+15 weapon would have way higher stats than his 72+7.

PeenN is right, I have also compared the stat between 70 honor npc weapon to a 64 sosun weapon. The 70 honor npc weapon has stat roughly the same as a 72+7 weapon. Therefore, the 70 honor weapon is not actually a sosun weapon, they just named it that way.

AFAIK, it can only be repaired 5 times.

So basicly its the same as 64 sun weapons cause 64+0 sun is allmost the same as 72+7.

Isnt alchemy=repair? I heard it was another "lost in translation" case from Joymax.
