does being low lvl pimping high lvl stuff affect success rate?

I do know for certain that a char lower than lvl 60 cannot purchase 8d astrals from item mall, so yeah it does affect alchemy of 8d items

i had to use a lvl 1 storage character +7 my sword...after i couldnt get it past +3 on my lvl 79

tried like 40 times to get it to go, put it on my lvl 1 character, +7 second try :roll:
