No More Popping? Mean NPC Hunters :(

Well, popping might have ended. However, don't trust those NPC Hunters. They have an Evil side. I was killed like 5 times by NPC hunters, i lost like 15% i was hell PISSED!

No, it wasnt AOE. It was direct attack. Both with skills and wihout Skills.

You can clearly see the Rogue npc hunter aiming and shooting at me. It was lvl 61.. I had like no chance..

I was attacked by Mages, Warlocks, a Dual Dagger Rogue and Finnally this X-Bow Rogue..

You can still pop 1* <40 merchants.

I'm suprised the npc hunter atked you :/

It's wierd. First it was Mages Attacking me. The other time it was a Rogue doing a prick on me... (ouch 1 hit)

N then some more mages

finall one was this Rogue x-bow

hell i've been attacked by an npc theif, not area effect either, i was cleric and i ressed a trader that just got killed by it, it comes over and shield thrashes me, and the only thing next to me was my wolf but my wolf was a few feet away and it clearly targeted me

im gonna have to guess by the previous posts that; if u use a cleric skill (eg. res, heal, buffs etc.) around a npc thief/hunter it WILL aggro you. :shock:

so clerics....watch out and be careful :wink:

When my pots werent recharging fast enough, i changed to Cleric. However, they were already attaking me...

oO then my theory is (probably) wrong. is your sub-class bard or another high aggro class

yea i got killed by npc hunter when i was low lvl

Well, im a Rogue main. n my Clerc is just minor... I dono what happen. I was standing next to the theif when the NPCs spwned...

It was funny, 4 5* traders, with like 3 Hunters. So we were just watching...

Next thing i know, i was dead and dead, and res and ress n so on, untill you saw me running for my life there

Is not just cleric skills that make them aggro. I was with someone of my academy next to samarkand and I got a NPC cleric thief (so isnt just hunters) who started to attack me and follow me. I think that they become aggro if you attack any mob that is close to them. Another bug that Joymax has to fix :roll:

That may well be it...I recall a thread about players targeting nearby mobs to eliminate trader caravans...or some such thing...

And since mobs will aggro players differently depending on wether they are in a party or not this may be the problem...

Well Form what ive seen

NPC Hunters Light Imbue does transfer to NON Jobbing chars
But sometimes when in a EXP Share auto party the Agro system does get kinda farked up

sometimes when i hit a penon ill agro 2 insted of 1
maybe its a bug i dunno

Same. Im on sonars. im attacking one. And no splashes reach other. She just start attack me. Passive monsters. Its a bug.

it is when you are in exp share party if you attack 1 the ones nea it come after you aswell
i was at yetis on a friends account and i attacked a yeti and about 2 party and 4 normal ones came running at me, i sh1t it

well i was solo at the time that theif attacked me, and i ressed the dude, kinda lame that ressing agros them (makes sense) but if they can attack me, i should be able to attack back, and i wasn't in a party
