Can someone explain to me how the buff works? .. i've read about it on the silkroad site but its kinda hard to understand .. and i have tried it.

.. do we just simply get an apprentice from my academy to left click the cumulated buff and then press 'Yes'? I told a member to try it but he said it doesn't work

haha I just found out today that it apparently increases the amount of exp you get

the exp bonus buff runs out...

when an apprentice kills mobs he gets points for his cumulated buff. if they left click on the buff it will be transformed to accumulated buff and 20% points will go to the guardian and 80% of the points will stay at the apprentice. As long as your accumulated buff has points you will get 10% more exp, but the buff will lose 10 points with each mob you kill.

example:

apprentice kill some mobs and has 1000p on his cumulated buff. he left clicks on it and he becomes the accumulated buff with 800p and the guardian becomes 200p. now the apprentice will get 10% more exp as long as he has points in his accumulated buff, but will lose 10p with each kill. Meaning he will have the exp bonus for 80 monsters he kills.

lvl40 u get all 80% of the exp. Cumulated exp. thats all that u really need to know

Wen you have the blue icon, you store 10 aditional exp points for every mob you (or your party, if its a Exp Share one) kill, then wen you transfer the buff, the total points you get are divided 80% for you and 20% for your Guardian, and the icon turn into a red one (you get a new blue one also ), then for every mob you kill, 10 exp point are discountd from the Red icon and added to the Exp point you get from that mob.

Example:

You are killong kokuros, before you join to an academy you get 100 Exp point per kokuro.

You decide to join to an academy, and then you get your first blue icon, from now, until the time you transfer the points (the duration of the blue icon is 24 Hours, but you can transfer the point anytime you want) you start to acumulate 10 exp point for every mob you kill, so you get 100 Exp like before, but you also get 10 aditional Exp point, but this added point dont' go to you but being added to the blue icon. Let say you kill 100 kokuros, the you blue ocon got 1000 acumulated exp points.

After you transfer the points, 80% of those points go to you red icon, and 20% to the one in your guardian, From now on, from the next 80 kokuros you kill, you will get the usual 100 Exp point plus the 10 Exp point from the red icon = 110 Exp points.

Hope my tarzanezque english let you underestand this ligth explanation of mine about the cumulated/acumulated buff thing.
