2 quest problems

1. is it just me or is the hungry megalopa quest impossible to finish? I have been killing them for ages by myself and in parties and still haven't found it. is there sumthin i am missing?
2. The quest which i have to get the item from the pirate brigand champions is also a struggle because they rarley show up and when they do i can't find the item.

Can sumone plz help me!

i have the same problems but i just didn't do the quests

uhm just to make sure: you grind on megaropa's right? all the way up north on the eastern beach

normal megalopa's won't drop the item.

And if ur killing the right mobs... no idea how long it could take.. took me only 2 hungry megaropa's for the item to drop = /

edit @ hemagoku: I don't know about the pirate quest. I was referring to the megaropa quest only.
