It's been while since I played silkroad. My client was so out-dated that I had to go on the website and redownload it. Once I go it up and running, on the startup screen (the part you fly through the city) the buttons don't have text on them. Once I get into the game, I sometimes see boxes for letters. The player names are normal, play chat is normal and some numbers are normal, but I still see too many boxes as characters.

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled, but it doesn't make a difference. what should I do?

make sure the language is set to english when u start up the client

Even though it was set to english, I reset the options and it works now. thanks.
