i know theres a few of these but im not sure if wolfs were changed with euro.

1.What kind of damage do they do? (good/bad)
2.If you barely have 1m are they really worth geting?
3.i know their useful for theifs but what about merchants? (theifs ride a fast horse to keep up with wolf attacking merchant)
4.is the 'upkeep' expensive?
5.are they same damage as white wolf?
6.can NPC theifs now attack your wolf before you when trading or cant they attack the wolf until wolf attacks them?

thats all i can think of will add more when thought of through edit.

please no spam or rude posts.

1. They do "okay" damage, attack rate is slow so don't count on them as a massive damage machine.
2. What else are you gonna spend that 1m on? A weapon you outlevel in 2-3 levels?

I don't recommend buying one if you barely have 1 mil. What happens if it dies? (most players who are new to the game and wolves will typically get scammed out of their wolf, get it killed, etc.).

Spend 88 silk and get a collector pet. Then get a gray wolf.

1. If you've ever played/seen a pure STR character, it's similar to that
(minus the weapon.)
2. I recommend having at least 1.5m (preferably 2m) before you buy. The grass of life, which you use if your wolf dies, is 50k each.
3. They are useful for anyone who wants to get in an extra attack on someone(in other words, everyone.)
4. Refer to the grass of life thing from 2. Beyond that, its just recovery kits. Not too expensive.
5. Yes. Go with an NPC wolf, because you can't sell white wolves, as far as I know.
6. Probably, but I'm not sure.

Hope that helps.

1.What kind of damage do they do? (good/bad) enough to tank
2.If you barely have 1m are they really worth geting? i always tell my guild members(i give them 1m to join my guild) use your money to make more money then buy luxuries
3.i know their useful for theifs but what about merchants? (theifs ride a fast horse to keep up with wolf attacking merchant) once you got the guts for lvl 2 trades and up ull need it to get rid of extra theifs
4.is the 'upkeep' expensive? while power lvling my dog dies alot but while grinding if you pay attention it wont die and if you disconnect it will mostlikely die
5.are they same damage as white wolf? yes white wolf just look differint
6.can NPC theifs now attack your wolf before you when trading or cant they attack the wolf until wolf attacks them? they attack the wolf but ushally move on to you

Yes it's worth it. It can tank mobs for u so u won't get ganged and die. You can also lure mobs if you're lazy to move lol xD

Yes.

You need a wolf. Think of it has heavy duty fire burn damage. Also, it's useful to drag mobs towards you, especially party mobs. Send the wolf to attack it, and then recall, the mob would follow. Repeat. It works great at penons at least.

Also, being able to do let's say 2K more more damage = faster grinding = more exp in less time = you're happy.

You can use it to distract your opponents, press the charm action button, the wolf rolls and your opponent goes "Awwwwwww..... so cu.." then you whack him/her in the head.

I can write a mathematical proof using induction if you would like.

Wouldn't that make our time continuum unstable?

My wolf used to turn a 3-shot mob into a 2-shot for the bow. Big difference in grinding speed.

Pff, no.

Also, being able to do let's say 2K more more damage = faster grinding = more exp in less time = you're happy

Define variables
Let x = happiness.
Let t = time available
Let e = experience/character level. Level being an integer and experience being the decimal following the integer such that e = experience + percentage/100.

Then, by supposition, let's suppose that as you become higher and higher, you have more and more funsince more things are available to you (i.e. jobbing, etc.). Let t(used) refer to the time used to level your character such that

x = t - t(used) + e

So, more "happiness" is available with more "experience" (experience used loosely).

However, since

t = t(used) + t(available).

We can increase our "happiness" by either increasining t, decreasining t(used), or increasing t(available).

Now, t(used) be defined more specifically as grind time.

t(used) = "grind time"

We can reduce t(used) in various ways.

t(used) = t(normal grind time) - t(extras); or a more specific example.

t(used) = t(normal grind time) - a0(wolf) - a1(powerleveling) -a2 (goldticket) - a3(silver ticket) - SUM(a4,an) (an(item)).

So, as you can see clearly from the proof above, including a wolf increases your happiness which can be seen from exchanging variables above.

Let a0 = 1, a(1-n) = 0. From simple computation, once can see that in the simple case that one has a wolf, the happiness is increased by a margin. The same can be held for each item that augments the exp per time.
This, QED biatch.

You are running on the assumption that having a wolf reduces the time spent training. This is only true if your wolf survives the training session, and assists in dealing damage, which is hardly the case when you start out, as your wolf dies alot, thus causing you to spend more time, more gold to revive, equating to less happiness.

P.s nice try to proof by induction though, proof is only correct if you set the parameters (to say a level that the wolf can train w/o dying so much)

+1

You're right; but I was assuming he'd never let his wolf die. Mine hasn't died except when I lagged out once or twice.

And I forgot one step, which I've now added; it's actually the most important one.

edit: aww, thanks for the <3 and smarty pants. =) I'm actually doing my real analysis and linear algebra homework right now. >.< Basically...proving obvious things is all I'm doing. >.<

e.g. a*0 = 0. Prove it. It's actually a 12 line proof. >.<

and then noone mentioned the fact that as long as the wolf is up to four lvl's lower than you u can problemlessly use him to attack a mob solo while you are doing another mob so it goes a little faster
