hi guys, im a lvl 42 S/S hybrid nuker with naked mag balance of around 86%. im currently farming at the dead ravine (red and dark-eyed ghosts)... its pretty money consuming as universal pills n pots. but i wanted to get drops around my level. (ive got my lvl 42 sword there too) but the thing is... ive spent almost a day farming there but only like 3 drops? i need 2 nukes to take them down. my concern is that by hitting mobs higher then you, the chances of you getting drops is rare... (is it true?) n for my current lvl n concerns, where would be a good place to farm? thank you....

No that is not true, the higher level you get to, the less chances of drops, lower levels tend to recieve more item drops, but theyre worth less the value. The higher levels get less drops, but theyre more worth of value. Makes sense? For a level 42, and if you have the money, I recommend you to buy a SoS sword, hopefully +3 it, and farm at the Uigjis.

Quote: SoX items drop from pure luck. It does not matter how much silk you purchased.
It is quite simple actually, Red monsters have decrease in drop rate, give higher EXP. This will lower your chance to get any item let alone a SoX item. White monsters have a moderate drop rate, give decent EXP. Slight chance to get SoX. Green monsters give you higher drop rate, lower EXP. If you have an increase in drop rate, you have a higher chance of finding SoX item.

I think farming on anything you can 1 hit will garantee drops.
I grinded on whit mobs and i got like 1 drop a hour, also 1 2 hit kill them.
Then i moved to green mobs, 1 hit them and i had like 10 drops in a hour

The higher the monster the better the drop.
The lower the monster the craper the drop. xD
(Excluding Sos Som Sosun etc added to them.)
Think about it you don't get 4th degree drop from a Mangy?

Just go to green mobs, and make some gold. Then level up a bit and go to bunwangs if you can, to make some more gold.

Green mobs having a higher droprate is a myth. The only reason you get more drops at green mobs is because it takes you less time to kill them->More drops. It's very simple actually.

Yup, if you can one shot them you wont get hit as much, so you wont be spending more pots, and gaining more gold instead.

Doesnt work like that for me, I remember 1 shotting Yeowas and getting loads of drops (they were green) and then going to ongs and 1 shotting them also and not getting anything (they were orange). Also you can kill blue mobs the quickest but you rarely get any drops from them.

thank you for all your replies... really appreciate it... anyway, i aint in the rich league and have only 12m now which i would like to save for later use on a sos or som wpn. there is still some glimer of hope to get a drop (haha)... anyway, i think if i want to 1 hit on mobs for farming, i would need to go to the robber bowman area... but its drops would be of less value and useless to me. might consider bunwangs but would really hope for some good drops. cause currently, i still haven received any drops from them other then alchemy, pills and money. anyway, does anyone have any more opinions on where to farm or what to do to aid my situation... thank you~

Grinding for gold/gear/tabs etc at green mobs is the best way to make lots of money. You dont use many pots, you can usually one hit the mobs, you can stay out there forever coming in only when your inventory is full. Then stall at night selling your good elements (break your cruddy gears, you'll make a lot off elements from them too) and gears you dont need.

chances for som n sun drops depends on last tier of mobs. try GAINTS specially.
for degree 1 = water ghost
for degree 2 = bandit bowman
for degree 3 = Hyungno Ghost soldier
for degree 4 = black scorpions/scorpions
for degree 5 = Red scorpion/Red-eye Ghost
for degree 6 = Ishade
for degree 7 = Devil Yeti/Edimmu
it works well till degree 7, but for degree 8 my lil theory gets messed up ^_^

When you click on a mob, there will be a circle with a color on it. The color co-ordinates to the lvl of the mob. Red are mobs generally a fair bit high then you, orange is a tad higher, White is your lvl and green a tad lower.
