Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Inspection Period : 09/11/2007 15:00~18:00 Silkroad Standard Time (3 hour duration)

* Please note that after the server inspection on September 11th, Silkroad Online client may only be downloaded after newly downloading the torrent file.

Does anyone know what they mean with downloading the client only with torrent? Does it mean downloading the entire 850mb+ game over or just the sro_client?

yeah that doesnt seem to make much sense to me, they aren't very good at wording stuff over at joymax.

I think it means you may only use the sro_client from the official site, not from other sites like bot sites etc

the old install kit won't work anymore(the 800mb thingy).that's all.you will still be able to take updates via silkroad.exe

Bot sites don't change the sro_client. It's always the same, original whatever you wanna call it.

i think it means if u wanna download the sro client installer then u gotta download it via a torrent.. if its not that the.. errmm i duno

That's cool because i just downloaded the torrent file because i formatted my computer.

Installed it successfully, and now it's time to grind, grind,grind!

It just means their is a new torrent to download the client with.
You don't have to re-download anything.

umm back on topic but if you click the client it says in red that EVERYONE needs t download the new client after the check on the 11th

this is what it says...interpret it how you will

so i'm guessing this means if you want the updated client you need to download the torrent?
