I simply cannot decide which Euro build to pick!

I already played a Warrior and Rogue, but they both got boring after a bit...and they were supposed to be the best builds for a soloer like me. -.-

Right now i'm trying out Cleric with Wizard as sub and i like it a lot, but i'm not sure if its a good build in the long run.

I'm a noob at Euro, never got past Lv 24 on a European char, and i need help, so can someone explain me the strenghts and weaknesses of at least some Euro builds and help me pick one? Thanks

P.S. I do not mind it being a pure INT or pure STR, i just want a char that will be fun to play and that will distract me from my farming on my Chinese blader.

personally i like feeling like im the shit when people thank me for casting ridiculous str and int buffs.

Have to agree, I respect the people who are clerics, giving me that str 24 increase buff lol. Now if you think I want a fun build, do either wiz/cleric or warlock/cleric. Only bad thing is u might have to farm a little, but its worth it.

Im a rogue, and they are just fun to play with, but I say we need more clerics

if you want fun, i would say go back to your rogue, get to higher lvl and u will have lots of fun. get both xbow and dagger

later u will learn monster mask, can go stealth and make urself look like someone else, very fun to play when jobbing

cleric rock, but i like my warrior

Thanks for your votes, but right now i really love my Cleric/Wizard, but i guess i should play a bit more on my Rogue to get Xbow Extreme.

Rogue ftw especially if you want to be a thief or hunter

Clerics Own dude, im 73 cleric with highist buffs 31int ^^. And i get in lvl 80 partys just for a buff. . If you want to join partys and lvl up fast be a cleric, Also They are good in pvp, well for at least 45 secounds of tanking with healing divistion on. There like 1 handed int builds.
Rogue = wiz
1 hander = cleric

Cleric is fun, and if you do your job well people will love you. But if you can't find a good party a Cleric isn't that good, I guess.

People say Rogue and Wizard = fun. I tried both and I didn't really like it. Wizard dies too much and Rogue, well it just didn't suit me.

So I was thinking.. damn what should I do? Then I maked a Warlock. And I love it.

Your survivability is a lot higher than wizards. And you don't have to sacrifice HP and DEF to do good damage. 'Cause Warlocks do quite good damage too. DoTs are more effective than you might think. I often get drops of Giants/party's. With debuffs and DoTs, a quite nice hitting nuke and a skill that deals damage and heals you.. you can hit good and still survive well.

2H sword warriors are fricking strong....so are Rogues....( i personally feel that bard or cleric sup is best for them....if you keep bard at maxed lvl with your warrior/rogue, you can wear garms =P)

Wizards are so easy to kill its sad.
Clerics are always a good Choice
Bard (dunno bout you but fighting witha harp = gay)
1H Sword = Kind of like a blader for euro lol
Warlocks are fun cuz no one can defend versus your debuffs xD
Rogues = Good dmg, but with their Hp reduces, theyre weaker
2H sword = Good dmg, esp with a good critical...plus mad defense buffs (mana skin/iron skin) for 45 secs each....and with a bard sub you can wear heavy armor and garms =P

Rogues are the bomb, hands down, I mean they are just pretty sexy. If i could be bothered to redo a char I'd prob do rogue/bard but for now I'm Warlock/Bard *to be*. Just bard for moving speed and noise for training in aggro areas.

Warlock doesn't do as much damage as a wizard does, but they can vamp hp and debuff people and warlock debuff's help out BIG time. Also alot of the people on pacific don't realise when i do this to people their fighting is the stun buff. It's like black stars thats floating around you it has a 35% chance to stun the person/monster that attacks you. I love it cause everyone always wonders how they get stuned just for attacking someone especialy when that person doesn't even have a stun skill, lol. It also helps out alot in unique spawns and guild wars.

Uniques spawns it's the shit for someone thats tanking all the mobs you put it on them 5-6 elites just get stuned almost all the time. And guild wars i put it on john *cleric* someone tries to kill him they get stuned alot and he doesn't die cause he's quite hybrid then he just does offering *BAM* dead lol.

Your choice, but I'd stick with rogue imo it's quite good and very entertaining.

I recommend u using Rogue,get both Xbow and Dagger and u will never be bored.

Thats pretty much the same with all Euros except Warrior.

don't forget Warlock, Cleric, Bard as well

I don't know about Warlock but i love Cleric and Bard, both have great buffs and i'm thinking about coping my friend and going Warrior/Bard, seems to me to be the best build in the long run.

What do you think?

I recommend the wizard/cleric build, you get all the good stuff from cleric and if you can't find a party you can grind solo with light armor and bless spell for giants

i am playing a new wiz/cleric i made today and i got it to 16 in 4hours, and it is realy fun to play

Whoever voted for Rogue/Warrior should be ashamed, you didn't even get to the fourth sentence of this guy's post.

If you generally have a party or the money to power level, etc I would stick with Wiz/Clrc.

If you anticipate soloing a large amount of your time in SRO, I would STRONGLY suggest dropping Cleric for Bard. Bard gives you Moving March, increased run speed. Run faster=Level faster. Bard also gives you Noise, which is a godsend for a cloth/LA wearer when soloing, because it prevents normal monsters from attacking you (champs and giants will still agro however.)

well after some thinking i thought that in the long run a Warrior/Bard will be the best.

I'm a Warrior, a fighter, i'm pretty sure that after a week of buffing and healing i will be bored to death.

I'm not too confortable with pure INT either.

What do you think guys?

i can't believe how much people wote for Rogue considering that its plain boring and weak without high crits on weapon.

I've got a level 24 Wizard, i have to say they're not very fun after level 20.Although, there is new nukes to play around with, you die so easily, and normally get killed by one hit by a player 4-5 levels lower.

i currently have a lvl 54 2 handed sword warrior/bard

very good build for solo, but also for PVP, i love having 9k HP

i say Dual Axe Warrior, cool attacks, nice def, no nooby kd so u wont piss off pt members (if u dont get p-lvled), stun, and axes look better than 2H sword imo

i expected better from you, axes don't suck, though i dont' know what they are like at high lvl, so maybe they do get worse, but they seam to dominate for party getting good agro, keepin gevery one alive, and vs other warriors they seam to win at the most, as long as you stun doesn't fail

LOL i bet all of u saying axes suck have never played an axe warrior past lv20. i bet even fewer have gotten to lv43 with a dual axe.....stun+double crit=2H warrior dead on ground

my friend is Lv 68 Dual Axes and he wishes so much he would have gotten the 1h skills instead. =p
