Silkroad Account ban email

Today I was sent an email by Joymax saying that

We are updating our data base that causes sometimes mass account ban .Please Update your account information within 24 hours or your account will be banned.

Has anyone else gotten this?

There was a post by Mr. Fudge iirc just don't reply to the message or click the link in the email

You know what's fun to do? using some other computer such as school computers and go there just log in with random names and pass lol... that will be fun to do.

Or even better write a macro/script/autoit to fill it with random characters, a few million times over and over.

Receive same email.. this sounds like someone who has acces to the forum can see our e mails or sometihng and send that xploit shit.. this its weird..

That is true and probably for any other SRO forums that users posted their game account's email in their profile as well. Since I don't have my email listed, I didn't get any email

. I'm afraid when I have my email up, those scammers will bow and worship me as their god and give me all the degree's SOSUN for all equipments.
