Why wont my glaive +5?

Hi can anyone help get my glaive from +4 to +5 in alchemy its a lvl 24 glaive
degree 4, i keep failing on my way to +5 i thought +5 was no big issue? i dont want to waste too much astral

i only put +3 on to my 35lvl wep and +4 on to my 42wep and +5 on to my 45lvl wep.dude anyways you are going to pass 24lvl fast its not worth the effort.

yea its not worth +ing i think i wasted over 3 mill gold and 50 silk to + it but i was just experimenting

and he used only 4 mil to buy new ones. i needed 120 elixirs for +5. had some and bought for ~10mil. anyway, it was my 72 weapon too..
