What makes equipment "glow"?

As much of a nooby question it is, it's something I don't entirely know.

Either its + ammount or if it is SOS SOM or Sosun

+3 has a white glow, +5 has a red glow, +7 has a gold glow and +9 has a blue glow.

too make sure...only you WEAPON and SHIELD can glow

your gear wont glow..ever, not even if you have full sun lol (if you heard it somewhere

but it would be cool to have like a +3 effect on the whole gear at full sos, maybe +5 for som and +7 glow for sun sets at one degree =)

We talked about that a few months ago. Conlusion was:
1. It would make the game even more laggy.
2. You would look like some glowing Xerxes gaylord.

i have a question if its a +5 SOS/SOSUN/SOM will it still have its glow or will it's glow be overlapped by the glow of the SOS/SOSUN/SOM?

The +5 & 6 glow is more like pink, but it will not be overlapped even if it is SOS/SOM/SUN.
