Dear Joymax and Chan Woong Jeon,

I am writing this due to the fact that the moderators of the silk road forums staff and personnel do not reply to problems or posts. Mainly as a infuriated player among many others i wish to inform you that it is IMPOSSIBLE, to play on any of your silk road servers due to botting Computerized Player Leveling System. For example i took a screen shot of about 30 or more people running in the exact same line botting and noone on the silkroad administration staff is doing anything about it. mainly what frustrates me more is that silkroad administration dosent see obvious names such as tytytyt2 and lolololol as botting names. the community and myself all believe that there is NO administration staff whatsoever and there is nobody correcting or even attempting this issue, therefore making most players feeling left alone to fend for themselves in total anarchy.

About the Game Masters GM

Quite frankly, nobody believes in game masters, due to the fact that NONE of them ever are on, none of them come on to enforce the rules such as foul play and other mister miners proclaimed in your Operation Policy. we as a community dont even get to VIEW a game master, if they ever do log on it is because of an automated message system that lasts 10- 15 seconds and then they log off. So, if the administration is never on, foul play is erupting everywhere, my question is who does police the silk road servers?. the most common answer is whoever is sitting a a screen with a console who tries to look for inconsistencies in the server, who does nothing to see botting or any other type of foul play.

About the normal players Legit Players / Users

In a silk road census that i did recently on October the 5th, 2007. the average REAL person makes up about a total 7 - 10 in the total server population, what does that mean? It means that on average out of the Maximum 5000 players on a server Premium reservation slots included there is a total of 3500 botters on average on any server at any given time. So those numbers dont mean anything right? wrong. The only way to get on silk road online as of late is to get a Premium ticket making the game on the verge of Pay to Play status and discourages the average player to even believe that a Free MMORPG isnt possible without some purchases to even LOG INTO the game.

About the Game Security Game Guard

Security? Safety? I think not, Game Guard only prevents Data execution methods such as Trojan and other viruses and prevents the game that its bundled with from haveing a process on memory stated on article found at http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameGuard . Lets face it, Game guard is good, but quite frankly it doesnt get the job done.

Bot Programs Computerized Leveling Systems

Here it is the Creme of the conversation, Botting. Lets face it, its ALMOST inavoidable but if you do a quick Google search, u can find hundreds of botting programs that are designed to specifically get past all the games defenses. and what makes them better? the fact that they make money off of you, its easy, free, and people love the idea that a program is going to get them to the high level that they want for only $8 USD for 100 hours of free leveling. On top of being popular, there are other branches of communities that want to mooch off your companys dream as well, such as Gold purchasing, and other types of services. dont think there are sites that will attempt to challenge your company? These sites are LOADED with Male ware and fraudulent people, they will take your money and never even give you a cent of what you bought from them. Most of them just steal your user and password information and rob u dry stealing all your armor, gold, items and anything else they can get their grubby hands on.

Closing Statement

Although as fun as Google is and is easy to find information about people wanting to gain profit from you game. i think that an intervention needs to be in order. For example, maybe find some Legit players and appoint a Mini Reporting tool so that administrators can look into it. Or maybe try and have a bot banning ever moth or so to prove that botting is not tolerated within your community and will scare them away. As a closing remark i wish to say that i appreciate your games and i hope that this message will get through to some people and maybe take the time to look at it like i have to write this message.
