i keep seeing people talking about some gap. im euro lvl 15, with 15 rogue and 15 bard. is that bad?

another thing, is there a limit to the skill points i can get? if not, isnt it possible to level everything.

Gaps are important for SP farming

the larger the gap between character level and mastery level

the more SP is gained.

the smaller the gap, the more EXP is gained.

Maximum gap is 9, There is no SP limit when farming :)

and since there is no sp limit, why not get all the skills, you could change at will right.

You don't sacrifice your skills, you just keep a larger gap. After you collected all the sp you wish, you can invest on those skills you didn't (so that you got more sp). In fact, investing on those skills will probably get most of the sp you collected (unless you're doing some hardcore farming but it's pointless for europeans).

Europeans cannot keep a much large gap because they need the mastery level to improve their armor, while chinese characters do not. On the other hand, if you have excellent equipment made od SoS, SoM and SoSun you might be able to gap.

you cannot change at will.. as a euro you have a mastery limit... you can put at most, points in 2 trees and max them... you cannot be a jack of all trades.
so while you can farm unlimited sp there is no need to. Not to mention you have to farm so much for 2 trees its going to feel like forever. For a very completet two tree build it can cost by the cap, which is 80, anywhere from 400 to 700k sp depending on what 2 trees you pick.

Well.. You can look at your build to see how much SP you will need when you are 80 (or whatever level you want) here.

THen figure out what gap and for how long you will need it here.

It's also fun to just play around with. ;)

Depends on what you want.

Like shoto said, that's if you want to have complete trees. You don't have to get every skill in a tree(there are certain spell for my wizard that I have chosen not to get.) You should take the time to look at all of the skills available for your two classes(find out what they do, and see what other people have to say about how useful they are), decide which skills you want, and then use the links nightbloom provided to determine how much SP you'll need.

I figured that I'll only need about 240k SP to complete my build.
