joymax said a while ago any altering of the client would result in a ban since pk2 editing involves the media.pk2 file I'm not sure.
I guess it's a small chance you could be.

lets make it simple, pk2 editing can give you an unfair advantage thats why people do it, joymax said they will ban anyone found pk2 editing whats to say they dont have a method to investigate?

so my simple answer is try to avoid it, it is not needed
